cheese trance

I'm sorry if cheese trance is not the flavor of the u.s. :b

If you look at the credits on the vinyl for calling your name...even though libra [aka bt] name is on there....all production credits go to taylor

The only US Trance artist I've heard of is Christopher Lawrence... he's arite, I guess... any other significant US artists?

I champion the european sound.

I stand corrected. Such a shame (put intended) BT went off the deep end. He had such potential...

BTW, which Taylor is that? LA, i'd imagine, but I know of one from Australia, and maybe the UK...

But, now he's gone a little crazy, ignoring that side of his work, producing soundtracks, n-sync, and focusing on breaks and rock. His breaks can be good, but that's not what this board is about.

BT's doing music for N-sync ?? I didnt know that.Which one's did he do for N-Sync ??
Its really sad.I cant believe he is doing that.

ummmm i saw some ppl sayin bt "had potential", "gone of the deep"..
i'm sorrie, but he's been around way longer than many other djs in the circuit right now, producing quality after quality...
i don't think he's produced a bad track
he's been totally diverse in his production, anywhere from hiphop, to p.house to trance..
i don't think anyone should say he's bad or gone bad.......

No, dj quicksilver has been in ny... The only other person i would see because hes been down to s. fla a couple times is taucher... but that is about it... Everyone else i listen to is never comes to the u.s. unfortunately...

hey johnny eckhardt you hit in right on the money man!!! im getting sick and tired of these record companies controlling what we can and cannot hear. living in nyc, the only ACCEPTABLE stuff i hear on the radio is tranzworld fridays on wlir or similar stuff from that station...if it wasnt that i go to greece every summer i wouldnt know wtf house and trance is...there some really great parties out there as they really know how to have fun...ive been to paris as well as madrid and theyre radio at least everytime i tuned in had something playing that was electronic...and in germany, with viva tv you can actually WATCH THE VIDEOS for a change...the us is so far behind that its sort of pathetic how the whole world accepts things that are new and exciting regardless if they dont make the big buks like all this shit pop they have here..if they gave this music a fukin chance maybe it could make money too..but no, we cant upset the established power of the record companies..not only did they already fuked up napster so they dont lose a couple of extra dollars, but they dont even open up the doors for new kinds of music.they wanna stik with their shitty rap and pop which annoys the shit out of me..do you know i actually told this girl "yea i like house and trance" and she tells me "whats that?"...that is the direct result of the record companies effect on what we get to hear in this counrty..absolutely pathetic is you ask me....

In general, US trance sucks. However, there are several bright points - Micro's set in Kalamazoo was intense, BT's live show was amazing, and I'd kill to see Kimball Collins. The problem is not the big name DJ's, but the small local DJ's. When the big names spin a set it's sweet, but on any average night at a club in the midwest, you get shit.

Unhappy

DJ Mozy, your link doesn't work.
I get the Yahoo Domains page instead. What's wrong? What you're saying sounds promising, though. I'm a big fan of energy-filled trance.

born in Maryland. For all you idiots out there that think he's british, i oughta smack ya.
Medway
Kimball Collins....I'm sorry but if you've never seen Kimball Collins live you're missing out.
John Debo
Jerry Bonham
Jimmy Van Mulleghan
Austin Leeds

I mean c'mon i thought you guys were tranceaddicts?
How pitiful.....

Yer right about Kimball Collins...his 3 CD's on the ICU PROMO are decent anthem cd's. Good mixing, but my friend said Kimball didn't have %100 control over theses cd's. If you ever get a chance to listen to his live Effective cd, burn a copy. When the crowd is hyped, he is an absolute stormer. Goto www.icon-nightclub.com to see how the Orlando scene compares to other American cities. They have had PVD, Oakie, Digweed, Kimball there all since Jauary. I think George Acosta has a residency there, but I would call him trance, more like house with a trancey edge.

Hi there, with regards to Eugene's post about my page, the address is http://www.djmozy.com but the original link had a full stop at the end which is why it never worked.
