Yes, I was going to say Carrera 2 before reading the responses, but Wavy Gravy was a good call too.

Nice track, but there are half a dozen better tracks on ADD imho. :-/

Did i say it wasn't? It's a fucking mad tune..but I just reckon its over-rated...His Kirsty Hawkshaw remix is more impressive

Posted by Philby on Nov-28-2002 03:38:

tunes that after reading all the hype about i download and listen, then say 'ok its suppose to be good...when...?

gouryella - ligaya
sasha - wavy gravy
armin van buuren - yet another day
bedrock - emerald (original mix)

they aren't necessarily...bad...but i just dont see anything to get me excited about.

Posted by Ves on Nov-29-2002 10:56:

DT8- Destination (Vocal Mix)
This would top the over rated list. I personally don't find anything special about it. Definitely a wasted download...
I don't know. Maybe I just need to listen to it over and over before I like it.

Gouryella- Ligaya
This was rather disappointing. well yeah, it's still a good track, but it's certainly no Gouryella- Gouryella. I didn't bother getting any remixes.

As for Wavy Gravy...I like the track but I don't think it's anything to really get excited about, especially in comparison to the other ADD tracks. Fundamental & Magnetic North are so much better.

I think I need to go into some sort of trance rehab...the tunes I used to think were absolutely fucking amazing now have no effect on me what-so-ever. Nowadays I'd rather listen to Fischerspooner- #1 over PvD @ Rosenmontags Rave.

Posted by matt_a on Nov-29-2002 11:33:

Ves is fucked

I don't think your avatars can make up for this Ves.

And DT8 a wasted download! You are F**KING INSANE! This is one of my tunes of the year!

And Ligaya. Honestly listen to it through a mixer and just crank the mid and give it a bit of bass, way better! Bloody madness! During the tune, build I have the Mid on Max. And the bass just pumps and pitch it up a little bit. Ves I really think you should try these things.

Why do songs sound so much better on vinyl? And the bass always seem larger. Prob cause my bass EQ is always 3/4 up.
I'm a bit of a Bass Tart (AWSOME TUNE SUMMER IN SPACE OHHHHHH YEH!)

Ves this is the real test.

Would you rather go to a club and hear Fisherspooner and dance to that all night or go and hear a Trance DJ blow the shit out of the place with Tunes! eg PVD Rosemontags Rave?

I wouldnt even consider Fisherspooner

my 2p

Posted by Ves on Nov-29-2002 11:54:

Matt, I was fucked from the start.

I would want to see Fischerspooner for their over the top dramatic stage shows rather than their music...
I would rather see PvD, Ferry and the like over Fischerspooner any time. So yeah, maybe I'm not as bad as I originally thought.
However, today I fell asleep on the train listening to Rosenmontags...ah shite.

and my friend you are forgetting that I do not own a mixer (not yet anyway). So I will have to miss out on this "bloody madness" you speak of until then.

Pretty much everything sounds better on vinyl. Whether that is a fact or is just psychological, I don't know.

So do I pass your test Mr Trancey Ash?
Or are you going to have to re educate me?

Posted by matt_a on Nov-29-2002 11:56:

"You are beyond education."

Funny how you get screwed by your own words Ves. What goes around comes around in your case.

Posted by Ves on Nov-29-2002 12:08:

Well isnt that typical for me to be screwed around by everyone I know anyway? Nobody really gives a fuck man! Why not screw myself up, it had to happen eventually. I knew those words will come to haunt me. Fucking karma.

I hope Ves feels better tomorrow

So overated:

Sun Decade - I'm Alone (Ronski Speed Mix)

Also whoever said Arctic was over rated go have a listen to the original Hemstock & Jennings version. 1000 percent better than the PVD re make

hahahah, wow, wasn't expecting someone to agree with me on this one!! This is such a cheesy tune, the vocals are shite, the melody n synths are pretty damn shite, overall a shite tune!

Sorry, I meant the Kristy Hawkshaw remix is great. Love that tune. The first 2-3 minutes are a great build up to it.

PPk - Reload. What a pile of crap. Take out every 7th note off PPK - Resurection and there you have it

lol that sprang to mind

Hey stamper, Viframa - Critalle (katana feat. dj precision remix)<< a bit harsh on that. the into mix is better though. I would have to say that KLEA tic toc was shitttttttt!!!! FLUSH THAT DOWN AND IT WOULD BE STUCK IN THE PIPES.

the eyes see what the mind believes.

Posted by zayd on Dec-02-2002 12:44:

personally i think sahsa - wavy gravy and klea - tic toc get hype that isnt needed . sasha is a mad producer and his other songs rox, i just dont think wavy gravy is top notch compared to others

oh and jurgien vries - the theme !!! grr <--- to much recongnition for crappy song imo

on another note i rekon that sky falls down (before armin remix) didnt get as much as it should have , and even now, personally i rekon it rox hard

Posted by hey cheggy on Dec-02-2002 16:26:

The Scot Project version of City 2 City. What a piece of crap. Come to think of it, anything with his name on it seems to be an overated piece of crap.

Riva - Time Is A Healer (Armin Van Buuren Remix)

I fall asleep to this useless track

I'll second that

Posted by matt_a on Dec-03-2002 06:16:

I don't think Klea - Tic Toc has been hyped up that much. I wouldn't have known about it unless I had downloaded the PvD Sets.
But it's a F**KING awsome tune!!!!! How can you not like the PvD Mix!
