We have that policy as well for some clubs here. There's one called "Money" hahahahahaha and I tried getting in once or twice with my brother, the asshole bouncer looked at me and pointed to the "dress code sign" and says "You see that? I don't make the rules, either come like that or don't come". Next time I should go there for kicks, try the same thing except this time when they don't let me in show them a few bills I pull out of my pocket and then walk away. That'll show them how much business they're losing. Suckers.

I have a friend who was turned away from the same club. It was later found out that it was because she was "overweight".

Its down right pathetic that clubs and the people who go to clubs like this are so concerned about image and status. Unfortunetly it seems there a lots of people who want places like this. And what do these people do when they get in? Stand around and try to look cool. Clubs like this people are so afraid to let loose and have some "real" fun. And at the end of the night when they come home ALONE they feel all unfulfilled.

No thanks.. Give me trance and a good vibe and I'm smiling all week.

oh yeah well i have seen worse...there is this one club that only opens in the summer and its awesome very smooth and nice with nice music and sort of a garden of eden theme...the owner stands on the door and picks people to get in. either people he knows or people that look good.there might be a couple tryin to go in he would let the grl but doesnt likt the guy and wont allow him to enter....so its like only beautiful people or the elite people. in there high society only...however his strategy works as people who get in wont stop bragging about it the next day...i gotta admit its one of the best clubs ive been to maybe cause everyone in there is hot hehehe...dont think its fair to others though and very rude

Posted by Toufas on Dec-04-2002 14:07:

i have a thyroid problem so even if i dont eat at all i wont loose the extra weight and i have an allergy to the medicine...

but thats not the point i am not saying that i feel bad about me being fat...its those stupid "elite" people who think that fat=not good (good looking, good people, clever etc etc)

and we have our lovely society to blame for that as well as the modeling and advertising industries....

well i am the complete opposite. Toooooo skinny i eat more than most and it doesnt go anywhere. And i dont mean eat unhealthly, like loads of junk food. I mean proper food like lots of carbohydrates, and protein etc.. Very annoying

Posted by Slylee on Dec-04-2002 15:34:

trust me mike, when you are 30 and don't have an ounce of fat on you, you will be thanking god for your high metabolism..i've got it too..always trying to gain weight rather than lose it.

my advice to skinny people is to drink beer and sit on the couch eating fried food for a few months. you will have no energy but you WILL gain some weight.

hey toufas no offence dude but the key to loosing weu=ight is not dieting...actually dieting is really not good for you...exercise is the key...u can diet all u want but if u dont use the energy thats going into u ur really not helping urself...best advice is start swimming on a regular basis....swimming is actually the best form of exercise....

i disagree. dieting is good. i diet not to lose weight but to be sure i stay healthy. cause i feel better and have more energy when i eat the right foods.

and yes, exercise is an essential part to staying healthy. though i disagree wholeheartedly about the swimming thing. though that is because i am burnt out from 14 years of swimming and it did damage to my body that i can never reverse. running is great if you can do it.

Posted by tranceaholic on Dec-04-2002 18:31:

yeah swimming for women is not the best thing because it builds all those shoulder muscles and stuff that dont look good on women however for guys it is the best..if u look at a sport like water polo u will find all the players to be well fit and in good shape and defenition

exactly!!

not to mention the tendonitis....

plus if you don't know how to swim properly you won't get a good workout.

yup..i was a personal trainer for a while..and my advise for the laides wa to do as much cardio as they can..and if they r gonna use weights..use very light weights and lots of reps..as for the guys well if u wanna lose weight and build muscles..then it is simple..push ups..chin ups and dips..work miracles

I was in Greece for about a month a couple of years ago. I went all over Greece, and went to many clubs. I remember that A couple of times they wouldn't let us in because of the way we looked, and I don't think I'm "fat" Also, having a good looking girl would definatly probably help hehe. It just depends on the place

Posted by tranceaholic on Dec-04-2002 19:40:

yeah i went to greece too..me and my buddy went to this one club called budda and they let in like only couples but we didnt care we just went..the bouncer stopped us and said wait and looked at us and in like acouple of mins he let us in...i hate that stupid couples rule.

Posted by Slylee on Dec-04-2002 21:40:

sorry the title of this thread just makes me laugh, i can't help it...

and about working out... i HATE all cardio work outs...bleh! i'm already thin and just want to get some definition in my arms and abs so i would assume i should just do sit ups and push ups and i'll be fine... f*** running... i would rather stick burning needles in my eyes.

Posted by tranceaholic on Dec-04-2002 21:49:

yeah not a lot of people r fans of cardio...do situps for a hard stomache but dont do like some and then take a breather and continue..do all ur sets after each other works out way better...for some defenition do curls with very light weights but lots of reps and do some pull ups to get that nice v shape to ur body...

Posted by Slylee on Dec-04-2002 22:10:

hahahah you must be thinking the pic in my avatar is me but it's not;P ...i dont think the "V-shape" is very attractive on girls...and in my own opinion, i dont really like the V-shape on guys either...i prefer the tall, lean look

Posted by tranceaholic on Dec-04-2002 22:18:

haha no i know u r a girl...maybe i put it wrong...i meant curves hehehe or defenition and flexibility..hey i am giving advice that u would pay for at the gym lol..i stopped being a trainer as i am senior at college and so very busy hehe but its a sweet job lol

Posted by Slylee on Dec-04-2002 22:24:

ahh ok...what college?? my bf goes to UCSB and i plan on transferring to a univ. in cali after i'm done here...

Posted by tranceaholic on Dec-04-2002 23:07:

ahhh a fellow UC student..well i go to UCR got into UCSB but was too far for me hehehe..u will like cali very nice weather and a pretty decent trance scene...

Posted by Slylee on Dec-04-2002 23:40:

yes i have been making a lot of trips over there in the last few months to see my bf and i absolutely love it there. i'll be there again from dec.28-jan.5. south Florida is the pits now. miami is fun but if you're gonna live there, u gotta be a baller and live on south beach in my opinion, and ft.lauderdale is just getting old...i love cali and plan on moving out there in jan. 2004
