what kind of sound system would you need for something like that?

yeh hell massive...
they have about 40 + or so trucks, located all over the place.
wehn the parade finishes @ 7pm, usually. the trucks then halt, and on board each truk, u find a massive soundsystem (enuff to make u wear ear plugs through out the parade, cause of the massive noise.)
so...wen the dj's play @ the Siegessule (pvd sasha, etc from this year) . each truck blast's out wotever is coming from the main stage Siegessule - (the golden statue - ) ..... massive is the word. ... u can also imagine hte NOISE generated by the crowd.... total headfuk material!!!

Here are some of 1000's of pics i took....
on board the Blank and Jones LoveTruck: (small sized)

^ the view from above the truck...

^ - crazy germans....they were everywhere, climbin poles and street signs! amazing!

^ dancing on the toilets!? who would have thought!!!!

^ Piet and Jaspa enjoying the party..they played wikked stuff thru out the day!!

^ what lies ahead of us...the amazing Siegessule

I HAVE MANY MORE, ill add om my website soon "

The Metro was the best venue in Sydney before it had to shut at 3am.

I heard numbers for Loveparade were down this year. Can anyone confirm/deny this?

Posted by webmeister on Dec-12-2002 12:14:

helen the only problem is that i don't think i can get enough time off from work

Posted by dj_helen_k on Dec-12-2002 12:17:

heheh...

well thats the thing.
u need alot of time, more than a month to make it worthwhile.

i stayed 3 1.2 months.

(broke now yes!)

Solution 1: get a job while over there
Solution 2: save up heaps, and do jackshit over there apart from party
Solution 3: steal ur parents money
Solution 4: kidnap a rich friend and hold him for ransom, use that money to do jackshit over there apart from party
Solution 5: do jackshit over there apart from party and live on the streets eating poo
Solution 6: take a classier approach, do jackshit over there apart from party and live on the streets eating poo with sprinkles
Solution 7: .....my imagination is going through a dark patch...

Posted by webmeister on Dec-12-2002 12:25:

see that's the trouble .. i have a well-paying job and have enuf money to do it .. but i can't get enough time off from work to do the thing properly
