jumping jupiters, now that's some major restecp! I've always enjoyed Michael Moore's satirical approach to contentious issues and i'm certainly looking forward to seeing this one.

I also finally got around to seeing Amelie after constantly putting it off (I'm sorry but seeing what zany adventures the Olsen twins were getting up to in London surely must take precedence! )

The movie was good BUT Audrey Tatou has got to be the most 'adorable' on-screen character i've ever seen. She is totally girlfriend material.

Just look at those eyes, *sighs* she's sooooo dreamy

I actually haven't seen anything from Michael Moore...but the reviews for Bowling for Columbine have been great! if I like Bowling for Columbine I might go search for some of his other stuff..

Amelie is a gorgeous film! very 'feel good'. After seeing it I went around doing random good deeds to people...however, that didn't last very long
and yes..Audrey Tatou is such a sweetie in that film!

the Olsen twins are evil!

Spirited Away sounds great.....if you liked it watch Princess Mononoke, it's by the same people, same style animation/themes. Good movie.

Michael Moore is awesome, my mate saw the movie the other day said it was great, need to see it.

I really want to see Y Tu Mama Tambien, if anyone's seen it can they post if they enjoyed it, it looks great, should be on moonlight cinema at botanical gardens sometime soon.

Amelie's whack :P loved it though.

Also I reaallly want to see "Blood: The Last Vampire" yeah it sounds kinda gay but I saw a preview which was absolutely perfectly executed, best trailer I've ever seen.

I think it's on at the astor or something, or you can buy the dvd from jb-hi fi, I reallllly wanna see this. It's anime btw.

Posted by Philby on Dec-17-2002 14:43:

speaking of anime...
omg!
in eb today theres like 3 box sets of the entire robotech series!
i think 12 episodes per box!
w00t!
robotech was fucking awesome!!!
i neeeeeeeed!!

Love Poundin' Sensation

I have Blood: The Last Vampire on DVD somewhere. I haven't watched it in ages, but from what I remember it's pretty good. impressive animation, very stylish! The plot could have been worked on a bit though.

oh man! i'm dying to see Y Tu Mama Tambien! it's rated R so i couldn't see it when it was on at the cinemas... is it out on video yet?
that reminds me, I have to rent Amores Perros sometime these holidays.

are there any David Lynch fans out there...?
anyone..?!

ticket dude: *starts laughing loudly* "you can't get child tickets to these kind of movies..."
me: "oh. umm, adult then."
ticket dude: "okay."

I hated mullholland drive. Sure it had the whole the wierdness thing about it, and im pretty sure i got the story. But it tried way way wayyyy too hard to be different.

However, he gained some points back for the inclusion of lesbian love making.

dude just go to a cinema and look! you don't need to see advertising to see a movie!

independent cinemas usually have better skin flicks
