wikkid compilation!

really nice

Just bought it about 3 hours ago, really nice. Apart from some label fuck ups (Green Martian - Harmonic Minor is actually Wizardry) and Marco V - Rise is the V.ision mix of echoes.

First cd is still really good which im happy about becuase i really enjoyed the proggy cd of summer trance.

Not got round to ripping it yet but when i do i'll upload it.

Man this cd seems bad ass, this complicates matters, use my gift certificate on this or global........... WHAT TO DO!!??

Not heard global but i no this new gk cd is amazing, Its been really well put togeather.

I haven't listened to CD1 that much so i'm gonna say nothing on it but the other two....

CD2: Starts off with a very nice track which really sets the tone for the entire CD. It all flows "nicely" into Andain - Summer Calling and thats where I really started to enjoy it. The CD gets harder as you go on and ends with the manic "The Prophet". Although there are some obvious mixing errors ( Echoed beats ) the cd flows really well. Good job John 00 Fleming !

CD3. Oh my ! This CD is hard. Having Umek - Gatex at the starts was very silly because the track after it ( John Askew - New Dimension) took its time to really get going. From then on its tech-trance and doesnt really go anywhere until Mark Norman - Overkill comes in. I havent heard that track until now and it blew my head off. From then onwards its hard house and harder house. The last track was nice and familiar (Big Fat - Discogogo) and really eneded the CD well.

So far the triple CD set gets 8/10. CD1 sounds very good but I need to give it a few more listens before I can comment on it

Cd 1 is brill. I loved the first cd on summer trance and i love this even more. But i must say cd2 is the best. That was a well worded review on cd2 SlinkySkev

my review of CD1:

I'm not really into prog trance but this mae my ears perk right up. I didn't feel that cd1 started until "Moby - In This world (push remix)" came in. That really set the tone of the whole CD. Deep and uplifting. It doesn't really change much until you get to "Hiver & Hammer - 5 million Miles" where the cd gets a bit harder and more fasted paced. The ending tracks really are great. John's very own "Ice Cream" into Tiestos remix of "Flesh". Good ending !

Overall 8/10

Complete CD Score - 8/10 None of the cheese from the other CD's and really flows well. Good job.


BTW, the errors on CD are noticable but they don't last that long. Doesn't ruin the CD at all.

Its great, just listened to all 3 cd's.. nice selection of tunes - hope it arrives in Australia sometime, untampered..

Just bought it today nice album John 00 rocks not that into Fergie though, good tracklisting on cd 1 and 2

Did neone hear the piss poor mix from sound of goodbye to flesh? I dont mean to rain on the parade but i just wondering, and the cd isnt that good either, but i will applaud the man for doin it on vinyl, unlike others. I mean its ok either way but i just feel better when its done on vinyl. Kinda seems like their cheating. NEWAY just wondering if im the only one who heard that fuck up?

Yeah I noticed it. I wouldn't normally notice it though. It stood out really bad thought even though it wasnt a terrible mix.

I got this compilation a couple a week ago and Godskitchen still having the problem with the tracklist they are writing the name of the song wrong again

On cd 3 mix by Fergie

song Airbase - Genie (Original Mix)

Its not the original it has to be some other remix or something because in Gorge Acostas set of the lost world 1-6-2003 you can liten to the song there and sounds completely different from this one!!

and in cd 2 mix by joof

Green Martian - Harmonic Minor

That is not Harmonic Minor trust me!!! Anyone notice this!!

looks pretty decent altho the tracklist arnt very organised then again i always think of cd's miced by dj's as sets, when to be fair, they aint.

That really is piss poor! I did expect a better performance from J00f to be honest - if he mixes like this for a CD recorded in a studio then how does he cope live with the added pressure of a reactive crowd?
