but these days, its almost scary how much coke and K are going around.
plz dont make that poll, cuz I dont want to know the answer. I would rather stay fairly in the dark.

Smiling Frog Well....

Well have done it....nothing special really......do it here and there....prefer having a few drinks....yep and that is it.

Posted by MarkT on Oct-23-2003 17:46:

e at big parties is the norm, but lately, I've had an equally good time just having drinks (quite a few of them, mind you). I just don't know if I'd last until 6-7am on booze alone...

Babysitting people sucks too...I've done it twice, never again at a big party...wasting half your night making sure someone is ok is NOT fun...although we should all look out for our friends if we sense something is not right

mmmmmmm...k!

not really a good party drug if you like to dance a lot...but can be fun in a more chill environment while listening to music. "Safer" than most drugs too, if done "properly"...of course that depends on the purity, the individual, dosage, etc.

And I don't really think doin a coke poll makes sense; some of us have done it (not me) but coke isn't really associated with the party scene like E is.

yes honey, youre wrong!

and next time someone offers you a coke pill tell them to fuck off cuz they are ripping you off.

Posted by infinity HiGH on Oct-23-2003 18:06:

well i never said that it isn't associated with the scene at all...but when it comes down to E vs. coke; i'm pretty sure E will get more votes if you take 15 regular ppl and ask them which they think is more associated with the scene.

And I've never been offered a coke pill...

Posted by Mrs.Spice on Oct-23-2003 18:12:

I guess this poll puts that whole music is my drug crap to bed

Posted by infinity HiGH on Oct-23-2003 18:17:

well music was my drug and still is my drug...

...but now with e and weed (the only 2 drugs that i will continue to do [and i don't really think weed is a drug]) just enhance it.

I can't go through a day without listening to something; but fortunately i can survive a day, and even a month or 2 months, without a "drug",lol

yeah, the lack of widespread social acceptance and because the gov't can't control distribution and tax it like it does with cigarettes and alcohol

Posted by jdjd on Oct-24-2003 04:38:

and that any government that legalized it would lose 99% of their voters...

Posted by Tordan on Oct-24-2003 05:48:

I don't drop often, just special occasions. I hate running into ppl who've over-done it (4 or 5 pills) while I'm rolling. Just ruins the experience for me. Also, the 'chatterboxes' as I like to call them. Makes me wish they sold duct tape at guv.

i think ppl who get coked up at parties are usually dicks to be around ... they snooty and irritable as sin ...not lovey dovey sweety sappy nice like us E users ... ive done my fair share of rolling but since i only go to like 5 parties a year cuz im in shithole in the middle of no where rochester i do like to go all out wen i attend a good event cuz i dunno how some of the TA's do it but im really beat like after 2 hours sober at a party and i dont like sitting down

i think it's more than just that.. there hasn't been enough widespread use for a lengthy period of time to determine its long terms effects as well. Although the drug has been around for a while, we didn't exactly have thousands of people dropping E every weekend at parties and raves back in the 1930's ..

raves in the 30's??? wow id have loved to go to one of those... wonder how dance music sounded during that time.. the dj probably hummed the tunes

Ecstasy used to be legal - it was used in psychotherapy and marriage counselling sessions to allow people to open up.

Became illegal once people started stealing/manufacturing it for recreational use. It won't become legal again, ever.

As for coke users at parties, how do you know they are on coke? And how do you know when someone is on E? Because they are snobby or friendly? That's a pretty pigeon-holed idea of drug users..

never said that ne1 who is snobby is on coke but i tend to think that coke users generally tend to have a more stuck up outlook towards other ppl maybe im stereotyping but thats just the way i see it..and likewise not all E users r nice ppl but hey at the end of the day its called the love drug or hug drug watever u wanna call it for a reason... i also noticed this with a couple of my friends wen they shifted from E on to coke they started to become reclusive

Posted by Orko on Oct-24-2003 18:40:

last time i did e was labour of love 2002. would definatly like to do it again. but usually cant find it. not enough clubin friends

i can get my hands on pretty much anything else, but not this!

as for the drug thats asociated with the club scene, gotta be E, coke is for rich people and DJ's. E is expensive enough at 20 a pop. never tried coke, so i wouldnt really know the feeling, but i know e feels great during the climax of a set!!! wouldnt replace that feeling for anything!
