that aint necessarily true. my last three experiences were thru friendships [one in the beginning, platonic, the other 2 befriended coz well, they were hot] , so if you play it the rite way, stay long enough, etc. they'll be hit by feelings for you before they know it. but then again, depends what you want. if you're just in it for the nookie, its a lil too much trouble to say the least =p

show em a whole new world and they'll fall head over heels for ya.

I'm guilty of doing that! i analyse everything...SMS's, emails, the time it takes for someone to reply to my messages on MSN..

yeah well...I'm one of those girls who have more female friends than male, but actually dislikes the majority of her female friends and prefers to be with her male friends. ehehe,

you spend all semester trying to figure them out and ....nothing has been learnt

all that happens is that you end up becoming better and better friends which is good but as i said b4 its only 2nd prize when what you want is 1st prize (NB: 1st prize is the more than just 'friends' scenario )
the absolute worst is when they tell you about other guys ( ie met this hot guy etc and you feel like saying "you're talking to one right now" lol joking ) and you seriuosly dont want to here it but because you're good friends with them you have too

its like you said once you've become friends or even worse good friends its like its only ever going to be purely plutonic

and yeah man chicks are confusing ....after my semester of investigations at uni into "what women want' this is what i got
they want someone who is nice but has a mean streak to him aswell, someone who will be nice to them but not always ....OOOOkkkkk!!
perfect guy = nice-mean guy <------ is that contradictory or what .......chicks dont even know what they want and i made this very clear to them at uni .. so how are we simple males to know??? i'll ponder on that for awhile
