Having read the book, i must say there was a lot of things that were not included, i was dissapionted about them and quite a few changes from the book(faramir is a much nicer guy in the book),
that out of the way, the movie was damn awesome, the shots excellent, great scenes, and gollum was un-believeble the most realistic generated character by far, he looks so real!!!
its no easy task to make a movie from somthing so large, and i think peter jackson (director)is doing the best job anyone could do

i went into this movie not knowing anything about lord of the rings the books movies nothing and from at otally objective standpoint i was might impressed really good a bit long but would reccomend it to anyone...
on a side note i was sittin gnext to this really hardest of the hardcore lord of the rings fan and i turned to my friend while the openieng credits (just advertising and stuff) was on and was like "dude! i know nothing! explain it to me in a nutshell!" (haha these like epic 4 hour movies in one sentance) "so my friend was like well basically theres a ring and he wants to destroy it and the evil goon wants it" and i was like "ok cool" and the dude next to me was like giving me evils and stuff hahahaha so sorry we cant all be hardcore lotr geeks sunshine... my phone VIBRATED i might take this opportunity to stress the VIBRATED and not ringing again in my pocket and i immediatly got it out and turned it off but this really set the guy off he went nuts, he was like "can you shut your phone off man! shit!" haha i cant believe he heard it vibrate i only noticed it after he complained... i was like chill dude the movies 4 hours...

Love

wow!!!!
I am very impressed! I couldn't remember anything from the first movie, but despite that I wasn't too confused by the storyline. At first I was like, "what's this Saruman everyone talks about?!" hehehe I worked it out in the end

I saw it in Chinatown and the cinema was almost empty; so my friend and I were free to express our thoughts throughout the movie, without fear of harassment from rabid LotR fans

That battle scene was fantastic! I loved every minute of it...enthralling stuff!

im going against everyone here.

It was good, but not as good as i thought it would be. I think the first was better. Maybe ill like it more when i see it again. But it defineatly wasnt shit, and enjoyable for sure.
