Cool

well seeing as i have only just started learning this week and already see somebody overtake me and nearly clip some guy on the pavement swerving back in to avoid some car goin the other way even though i was doing 35/40 in a 40mph zone, FAR too many wankers on the road

Posted by KoreanDJ on Dec-28-2002 18:53:

Seriously......no more racing As far as my class B license....I could have gotten the class A but my reaction time wasn't under .500 second.

Many thanks,

Steve

This method would be better than drifting.....plus drifting going 90-100 mph is just plain dumb.

Im sorry I call bullshit on your special license. For 1 states dont do that and 2 especially on reaction times to the half second. Now if you did have this super "B" license and knew all about drigting trailbrakeing and apexes then you would from your statement above that you can not put a moving car in park. The is a locking mechanism on the transmission to prevent this. Do you know what would happen if you could.Your engine would sieze and turn inot a giant paper weight. Lets just say i blew my motor in my 98 M3 and that one cost me 14 grand to replace, 2 years ago.
Sad story (for the m3) if its true but dont embelish it soo much. Especially when you dont know who trolls these forums and can call ya on it

First of all....the license isn't issued by the state. It was issued by SIR. Seattle International Raceaway.

Second of all...would you rather injure yourself (possibly death) or fuck up your engine? I rather put the car in parking and take the chance hitting the guard rail head-on (althought it may stop in time) then doing whatever to avoid damaging your car.......

..........Duuude, please with all due respect. If you think this is some jacked up BS story, drive your car to Seattle. My Solara will take on your 98 M3 anyday. I'm not sure if my Solara (Ran 13.9 a couple of months ago) could beat your 98 M3, but just come to Seattle and we will find out. After we race then I will show you my class B license.

I just wanted let you know that I'm not talking crap about anyone or anything. I just dont like it when people refer me as a "LIAR" Actually, I'm getting a new car next year....or whenever the market adjusted value is at zero dollars. 350Z........I would probably have to settle for the Enthusiast model. When I get it we'll race for sure

Steve

Posted by juzfugen on Dec-28-2002 20:49:

oh ok a track license thats doesnt mean squat so you did a few donuts and what not thats good we need more enthusiest in our sport but you implied it like it was a state thing and had meaning. Advice to you go get you scca or if your into drag racing get your nhra but you can get the latter until your car runs 9's in the 1/4 - i have both of those license.
I guess you really didnt understand what i was saying, you can NOT put a moving car into park, there is a stopper built into the transmission that wont let it happen. If i was in seattle i seriously doubt your solara would take my M when i trashed the factory motor the replacement was sent to Dinan and "massaged" throughout. I dont drag race it i had another car for thatbut when i did take it to the track it ran a 12.6 on radials 115 mph spinning the tires through first and half of second.Like i said im not trying to start a flame war with ya bud but i can tell your young and dont really know all that much of what your talking about. you should look into going to driving/racing schools. ive been to several bonderaunt and barber hell i even raced in the barber/dodge seris and finished 6 overall but that was like 7 years ago

stuff park, how bout putting it in reverse? hahah!

sorry, ok back to being serious!

ps. i accidently hit the my car in reverse while driving once, car seized up steering locked and it wouldnt start for 10 minutes, all on a main road. hmmmmm not good!

Wow its a shame....

Teens have a fashion that somtimes kills them....

How did you feel if he died ?

I don't understand why people always have to show off ,why did you race him?

Ok....I understand now but I thought you knew about hittin the brakes in order to move the transmission to PARK part. Well my car is manual transmission so I guess it would be different.

Someone asked me why I raced him? Ok, if another motorist paces with you, and looks at you the whole time....it seriously gets annoying.

Post the VIDEO!!!

Posted by Matt on Dec-29-2002 05:52:

now, if he hadn't been listening to Nelly, and HAD been listening to some smooth trance... he would still have a shiny M3 to drive around.

he'd probably still wouldn't pick up any chicks tho, cuz he's an idiot.

Just a friendly reminder that trance can save your M3, but won't get you laid.

My rear axle destroyed, trunk split in half, bumper gone. In the front, the carbueratorwas destroyed as well as my intake amongst other things. all this at a red light

Since when does a prelude have a carb on it? Preludes werent even around in the 80's when they had carb/injection combos.....

I drive an older integra GSR and it is a VTEC made by honda... it is a 92 model..... it is fuel injected. I think your repair man raped you.

hey koreanDJ my friend has a 00' Supercharged Solara also and he was wondering what year your car was and if its a V6. He also was wondering if you want to buy a full audio system customized for a solara because He is planning on doing a manual conversion. After he got that supercharger i was still able to beat him with my GSR on drag so hes pist .

Their income level is around $80 k or something) Anyway, I was just cruising with my TRD Solara listening to Gouryella'a Ligaya (Vocal mix) and this Brand new Black BMW just flew by me. It was soooooooooo nice......the rims.....the shape of the car...AHHHHHHHH. I swear I was going to piss my pants  Well, I saw his brake lights come on, and I guess he wanted to race me. As I got closer to his car, I found out that it was an M3. I knew I was going to lose anyway, but I wanted to see how long I could keep up with the "Beast." When we were dead even, I looked at the driver and it's this teenager......not to mention he was bumping NELLY. I think he was driving an automatic M3, because he had both hands on the steering wheel. I don't think he had the Sequential shifter either. Well, we were going about 50 mph. I hear him floor it, and I downshifted to 2nd. I kept up with him through out 2nd, and when I shifted to 3rd, he started to pull away a little bit. All of sudden, I see his hand come out of the sunroof throwing the PEACE sign....and I was just like "ok..... " I thought it was a little bit odd to call it victory considering he wasnt pulling away. Well, the road was a little bit turning to the right, and I saw the 35 mph with one of those truck tipping over sign. Well, I didn't want to rub my left side tires so I just hit the brakes, and the M3 kept going through out the turn going like 90-100 mph? I swear that dude was on crack.....taking the turn going that fast. At the middle of the turn, he lost traction, and it was way too late to drift to recover (Even if he knew how to DRIFT) lol Well at the end he T boned his car against the light pole. It was crazy......watching someone just wrecking a $50 K car..... I will try to post the video, since it was on the news

1.m3 doesn't come in automatic...unless you consider smg auto, which you said it wasnt
2.if you were truly convinced it were automatic, you didn't race an m3.

From Solara to 350Z, seems a little outlandish, considering you're not one of the "rich kids" mentioned that live in Bellevue. And if you knew shit about cars, you'd know the 350Z isn't all that great.

oh my gosh......WTF! Have you ever driven a 350z yet? That thing goes like a dart man. Maybe in your opinion, 350Zs are not that great but for that price i think it's well worth it. Just go test drive one of them.
