Tiesto14 in no way or shape represents what the majority of the american people including myself and many others on this forum are like with his mindless ignorant posts...he's just a bit too caught up with patriotism without understanding that by far NOT everything America has done is right and people in these forums who are NOT american disagree with some of the US policies that have the fucking right to discuss it with other members of this forum. this guy has to take his overpatriotic head out of his ass.

jeez guys settle down, this is exactly what i didnt want to see happen in this forum...
please both sides should really think about the lines they through out and try not to seem so fanatical or radical
tiesto14, you have to understand that there are people out there with opinions of there own, no matter how far fetched and conspirational they may be. some people here, insane as they may be, actually enjoy "going in circles" as you put it and debate issues. i can tell you havent been reading these forums much because there has been a wealth of information from both sides of arguements that has been shared here.
now about the subject of you first post, yes even i occasionaly feel that sometimes people forget to look at the bigger picture of the USA and the foundations it is built upon (read; decliration of independence and the constitution). i feel, sometimes, people demonize the USA for something it is not, even sometimes equating it to an inhumane regime bent on killing civilians for pleasure and trying to rule the world.
however despite all that, i understand and even sometimes agree with a lot of the gripe that the world holds against the US.... anyways i lost my train of though, dont remember where i was going with this...

The US has bombed civilians indiscriminately (Vietnam, Iraq, Serbia, Afghanistan); attempted to assassinate heads of government (Congo, Cuba, Libya, Iran); subverted democratic elections (Greece, Guatemala, Chile); blockaded civilian supplies of food and medicine (Nicaragua, Iraq, Cuba); supported policies of rape, torture and mass killing (Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador); and backed regimes responsible for some of the worlds worst human rights violations (Indonesia, Zaire, Iran, South Korea, Israel, Philippines). |

| Originally posted by intrinsic hrm if im not mistaken, everything you have listed here can also apply to many countries..... who hasnt killed innocent people in war? who hasnt attempted assasinations? who hasnt attempted to subvert elections? who else supports/doesn't do anything about the countries with policies of rape, torture, mass killings, and human rights violations? |

| Originally posted by Cyrus King Not the extent that the US has done. When was the last time Vietnam attacked Guatemala?...the US has reaked havoc on alot of places. |

guys don't waste your precious time arguing with tiesto14... whatever you say he'll bash you. he's been banned from some parts of the forums because of his attitudes... i thought not discussing anything with politics was part of the deal for your come back.

| Originally posted by intrinsic my point is that its all wrong because they are still doing the same, no matter the extent.... but my question to you is what would you had done about Vietnam in the U.S.'s position? Apply the same question to Guatemala. These countries could have led to a chain of events that potentially could have reaked havoc on the U.S. (and its allies) if they had done nothing. |
