It doesn't matter. I get what you are trying to say. It doesn't matter as long as you don't clip but you are encouraging kids to actually aim for 0.

Inter sample distortion is not really an issue when you are listening on ear buds. But it is an issue that compounds with gain staging. Not all plugins deal with it as they should will it matter? No. Unless you are doing acoustic small ensembles, nobody cares. But it makes older people like me and Raphie to point.

I suppose i only gave a reason that is just something a professional would account for when there used to be standards. I understand that it is pedantic and not important but it is something most seasoned producers don't know about allowing some dick swinging on the forums.

Nested L2s with 2 instances of ozone preset club and then add a high shelf at 8 k to add some air and warm aliasing artifacts.
