People are missing earleir points stated in this thread. Az was saying there would be no post count for posting in the forum, and posts would be moderated so things would'nt go too far.

I like the idea. People go on about how much they hate the idea of such a forum and hate flaimg, so don't go in the forum then! In other forums flaming goes on in a lot of threads you read, this forum may prevent this happening.

In a lot of threads i've read, it starts off with a specific topic, then two or maybe a few members start flaming each other, MODS could then , move it to the flaming forum

As of late, theres been a fair bit of flaming, a lot of people think it's all good fun, but unfortuneately a lot of people don't like it, and some have even stopped coming to the site because of it. Others tho think it's a bit of fun, and quite enjoy it, IE me.
I've noticed on other clubbing/music forums they have special places where they can vent there anger at people, and it seems to work fairly well, disputes are settled far more quickly.
I already mod an abuse forum (http://www.tranceairwaves.com/forum....php?act=SF&f=4 )thats in it's infancy stage (as the site hasn't been properly launched yet), and I think something like this could help here
Also I think I should be mod so I can lord it up over coup for a bit
*keeps it real*

LOL...ONLY Az would come up with this idea....LOL

i am for it....doubt i will get much involved but watching Az's abuse should be fun....i personally wont flame Az anymore after his honesty with me on my ex-girl...i have a new found respect for him....but would LOVE to see him get busy on others...lol

wahey!
I noticed the restraint in the "which countries do you despise most thread"

also, another plus factor
the forum stays hidden for guests. As the forum takes flaming away from the main pages, it will attract people who have not signed up because of the flaming.........

i don't see the logic in that tho, when mods could simply close a thread. there, flaming prevented.

again i doubt it will further prevent flaming from happening due to the fact that flaming occurs in response to other people's posts. they aren't started deliberately because he/she felt like being an asswipe. it's because ppl have strong opinions about certain topics.

a flaming forum imo wouldn't benefit the site in any way and would just be taking up more space (space that's getting rather scarce with all these sub-forums everywhere).
