Hahaha, I did get an aweful amount of stuff signed, didn't I? But it's better than getting cigarette packs, $10 notes and red bull cans signed (like most people were doing). Actually I didn't get it all signed at once, I just threw up a song when he played it. And being a typical Ferry set, it just about included all of those vinyls, so when he finished, I only had the t-shirt, poster, and three or four vinyls for him to sign.

But actually the first thing I gave him to sign was this:

(it was the day that the top 100 list had been announced)
And he was smiling so much after signing that, that he didn't care about the mountain of stuff I was giving him.

Haha! Good point. No, I only brought sleeves, otherwise I would probably have done my back in!

maybe we should have a sticky thread "dj dowlz' ferry autographs", then everyone can look at them in one thread and he won't have to keep posting them every chance he gets....

Hahahaha! Totally agreed!!! Nice one Philby!!

Nah, we don't need a sticky, just a link to a website. I've consulted my year 10 html book, and this is all I could be bothered coming up with...

Finally, no more mindless post whoring of my Corsten records

No, I definitely did not bring the vinyls Basically Corsten was playing in this warehouse at the back of the club (while the big name Tall Paul played inside). As it was all temporary, we just chucked our bag down the front of the stage (we could always see it, so security wasn't a big issue) and then chucked the vinyls and a pen up onto the DJing stage whenever he played a song that I owned (eg he played Tenshi, Ligaya, Carte Blanche, Pocket Damage in his set). See the pic with mr_stamper and me in it? There's also Carte Blanche being signed on the table. That's basically how we did it. And then afterwards, when things had cleared up, we went backstage and chatted to him and got him to sign stuff that he didn't play, the posters, and our t-shirts.

I don't think you'll be doing that at Two Tribes though. Perhaps you could do an airport stalking session? If it wasn't for the fact that he played on the first Sat of swatvac, I might done that instead. If you've seen the video clip for System F feat Armin - Exhale, you'll know why.

I really wanted to get my GUs signed, dave seaman looks like a champion bloke!

TT will own bring on da Armin!!!

IMO getting the sleeves signed of a vinyl won't increase the value (in money) of the record... only if the vinyl itself is signed aswell or instead.. however, it does increase the favouritism and value in terms of sentimental , of that sleeve..
