Dancing Dude

maby making cheesey trance was a cash grab 2 get a new studio to make good tunes??????

ya neva no, this cud actually be good

Posted by Tranced17 on Jan-11-2003 15:55:

that article is a right contradiction.

IVD going progressive - hands in the air type of stuff?

Fair enough, some prog trance is really uplifting but that is just 'Trance'. it might be progessive but I think people like sasha + digweed have claimed the progressive title, thats hardly hands in the air type stuff now is it

Be Cool!

never a huge fan of IvD's original work.. but i love:

Will I (Coast 2 Coast Remix)

If Ian van Dahl pull this transition off successfully I for one will be very surprised. There is potential there however!

Posted by DJ-RED on Jan-11-2003 18:29:

isnt the guys behind ian van dahl, dj jan & christoph chantsiz???

IVD were never good artist and they never will...i hate to see lame ass producers like IVD "tyring" to make a progressive song. stay with your cheesey trance crap, let progressive artist do their job.

I think they don't know the definition of progressive. they're probably do something wannabe-chilled. Or, they're gonna try to make a comercial progressive track, and that was feared for a long time.. now it can become finally a reality

OMFG, i choked on my saliva when i saw the title of this thread, so i went into a coughing fit and accidentally fell from my chair laughing really hard at the same time. my mom came to check on me and thought i was dying or something, but she couldn't call 911 because i was online and by the time she got to her cell i stopped her.

I think people should wait untill the album is released to give critics on the album. Maybe it is good, maybe it is bad, nobody knows right now. Ian van dahl is a commercial project but the producers made some great tracks before, so you never know.

hmm.. that's a good point.

this is a jk thread, i can't believe this many people are actually bothered, signed to DAVE PEARCE's LABEL, and garanteed to give you pure teenage dancy/pop IVD Shldn't b mentioned on a forum like this, they should be on a www.popaddcits.com or www.cheeseaddicts.com (there probably is one of them)
I cannot believe some of the coments(2many 2 mention)
"wait and listen"
"wait for the album"
"they might have potenial"
etc etc
they don't have potential in making trance, but potential in being a good pop team.
i am sure most people living in the Uk will agree preogressive music is for pure dance fans, and the elite know how, it is not ever used to gain pop interest, so i don't like to here IVD and Progressive in the same sentence.

few days later

new thread :
Lasgo - the cheese song (ian CORN dahl Cheesy Dub) [Dave pearce Mature Cheader Label]

Indeed.

I don't get all this hate against Ian van Dahl, who cares if it's commercial, the melodies are memorable and danceable, and they're great to have a good time to...

Posted by Rakoon on Jan-12-2003 02:09:

Christophe Chantzis you say? Then it could be half good because I liked his remix for Theme From Norefjell.

Posted by tranceaddict991 on Jan-12-2003 04:30:

its Ian Van Dahl one of the biggest cheese artist there is
