i hate microsoft programs...i cant stand when people bring me files and tell me they already designed their logo using word and clipart..i hate publisher a.k.a. punisher...i hate that god damn paper clip and all his auto corrections...and i hate when i have to redo someones brochure or newsletter because they laid it out in one of those programs. they over simplified the programs for the average user, but it makes my life a living hell because every person out there now thinks they are a graphic designer. excel is pretty cool though

Even when you remove all the file allocations from it, its still annoying, still pops up with "realone message center", still gives u adds when u close it, and even the icon on the computer annoys u, even when you cant see it!!

I may be wrong but can't you embed quicktime? Anyways...I think all the spyware should be nominated, and as for direct connect I totally disagree with coup, like anything you need to know how to chose the right users to dl from, if you dl from a 56ker then you get what you deserve. Winamp 3 - i get the same 8 errors every time i start it, and it crashes alot. if they had the playlist manager of WA3 in WA2 id go back

real media- just because im sick of downliading crap just to play something, and you have to pay for the top version...money pirating bastards. maybe winamp 3 should support .ram...or is that illegal or something. i still refuse to DL real player

I can't believe you can say that.

I admit winXP has a few problems, but keep it in good shape (Norton Utilities is the greatest program on earth) and it works unbelievebly well.

I havnt gotten a blue screen in about 3 months. I have never got an illegal operation, and my computer only froze 2 times in all the time that I've owned it.

Now, lets take a look at the win98 computer in my house.. every day a freeze that requires a restart. illegal operations popping out of everything on earth.. I get more blue screens on win98 than I've ever seen in my life.

most of the program i used and yours except for XP pro, winamp2.81, opera & mozilla have no pop ups, and nero

There's a blue screen on Windows XP? LMAO, I can't believe this but I have never seen it. Windows 98...yes that OS sucked so bad...I lost so many hard drives due to that OS it was getting out of hand.

I have no problems with XP, I can leave my computer running 24/7 and it's still stable...if I tried doing that on 98...well let's just say I don't think I could make 12 hours.

I totally skipped over this OS knowing that W2K was there...

I've never seen a bluescreen in XP either. But just before I installed it, I had like 3 bluescreens a day on 98..

Winamp 3 is amazing but too many bugs and it's slow

Kazaa gives u virii and theres popups

iMesh has popups and it slows your computer down like a mo-fo

Internet Explorer always will freeze up on me then close all my windows

Wierd, I have so many uncompatible SHIT with XP, I get that DISABLE device and so on everytime I start the PC. Also, I've had to DELETE my USER ACCOUNT twice now , since for some unknown reason, everytime I opened a window it would freeze, so I would not talk about freezing. Sure Windows XP looks good and everything, but it just has so many problems that many of you probably dont know of. I've had more problems with XP since I got it then heaving Wind. 98 for the 3 consecutive years. Windows 98 with a good ram and all, there should be no prob. Also, an Microsoft certified engineer, who is my G/F's father says that 98 is the best to date, and that XP is not what everyone thinks it is. Its easier for hackers to get in, and Windows XP gives you no PRIVACY ( everytime you send the reporting errors stuff, someone can hack your PC and it sends all your info to Microsoft ). And he knows a lot of other stuff which he didnt tell me, since it was not good for the company he works for .. Microsoft. But he did reveal that XP has maaaaany bad stuffs. Not as good as I expected. NEat but not the Best.

I saw the bluescreen when XP was on my dads old computer which was really buggy. I've had it on my computer for about a year and a half and I've never once had the blue screen, ever. My computer doesn't freeze too often either.

Easy CD Creator (I'd never touch this shit!, Nero's best for burning "generic" CDs (like MP3-CDs), CDRWIN's best for burning CDs from CUE files (audio must be converted to WAV first!) , CloneCD's best for making exact copies of all CDs besides Audio, Exact Audio Copy's best for extracting (ripping) audio to your hard drive).

I have Real Player 8 Plus & Real Jukebox 2 Plus, and now real put loads of real one adverts in them, telling me to upgrade.
