I thought youd like that

I think sake should probebly download a recent Mauro set before he jumps the gun again and makes a stupid comment like he did last time. I'd suggest Mauro Picotto - Live @ Nature One 2002.....starts out with a bang!!!

No recorded live set by Mauro gives him proper justice.. I've heard numerous livesets from the guy, but nothing even comes close to his live perfomance in Toronto and MTL.

I'm really looking forward to this party. Few DJs generate so much energy in the crowd.

I hope he'll play Umek - Benozal(gabry fazano mix) again, that track is absolut killer !

KarateKid

personally i'm not a huge fan of his production material .. with the exception of some of his trance productions, but i was blown away when i caught him the first and only time at the Canada Day party in 2001 at the Guv complex.. i enjoyed the DMC competition that night as well , but Mauro did tear it up ..

For your sake, I do hope that you'll hit this party as well. For some reason not that many TAs usually show up for Mauro Picotto. BIG MISTAKE! He does play techno, but the few trancier tunes that he play are always perfect! I wouldn't even call Picotto techno. He's got his own style.. Very unique.

That's an interesting point, I'm not sure what to think about him (or going to this party). Putting aside the fact for now that people say his style is very different live, I'm not crazy about most of his "techno" tracks, but his "trancey" ones are pretty sweet...

So what's his set going to be leaning toward, that's what I wonder?

If u want trance, stay home. You will not get that from him anymore.

His style isnt what id call strictly techno......its techno based with a twist of electro/trance sounds, and the FX he builds up for a good portion of tracks, is enough to blow you away. Havent heard anyone complain about any of his live sets (except for those who are strictly into trance or expect it from him)

KarateKid

yea i'd have to say i like his sound live a lot more .. when i listen to his livesets it just doesn't do it for me .. i even get bored sometimes to a point ..

i guess that's just the difference with his kinda music .. you gotta have the system and the crowd too
