yea.. a lot of ppl.. register to get help on something and then bugger off.. i think thats kinda selfish...

Looking at the # of members in a forum doesn't mean much.. They could have a lot of members but few are active -- or, a lot are active but the quality of postings is poor..
Anyways here's a breakdown for here:
# users / # of posts
385 - 25+ posts
261 - 10-24 posts
1300 - 2-9 posts
508 - 1 post
946 - 0 posts
...yup.. looks like i'm gonna have to delete about 90% of those 0 posters soon.....
i first registred to get an id on a song, then i took a look around and liked what i saw

don't forget, that some of the people with little posts come here to learn. Maybe they dont want to write anything, cuz they dont have anything to write. I mean when they look @ lynx for an example he has over 2700 posts, then they think like 'oh shit, so many posts, maybe I'd better get to know this forum for a while'
It took me 2 weeks, before I managed to post something, I felt was intersting

i suppose the posting thing is correct to an extent.. i dunno tho.. at the same time, many ppl come here... spam or something and then disappear.. but *shrugs*
as long as there are enuf of us to keep TA to the max.. then its all good..

I found it so strange when there was this guy with very few posts, and he said he'd been "watching" this site (thus the posts) for 2 years before he finally started posting himself!
I would never be able to do that! There are so many quality posts here, that I just have to be part of it!

theres currently 67000 or so posts.. so in 5 days.. we would attain that amount.. lol

but i mean.. it isn't really that big of a deal.. since these people who register and don't post.. don't really affect us.. or anything right?

yea.. the more TA's there are.. it seems as there is more crap floating around.. and more spamming.. and more disruptions..
BUT.. saying that
the more TAs there are.. means there are more knowledge floats around..
and more knowledge = good!
