In my opinion this mix surpasses every other made from this tune. The part when the well known synth hits in is just genious, so is everything else in this song.

aaahhh im stuck between agreeing with fatboy (coz that mix of synaesthesia is true genius) and swinging back to mr holden... Fuck it im back with holden.. That remix of 'Better Make Room' by Mad Dogz that he did is raw talent on a stick.. the beat drives u to move so fuckin much, and the synth rattles ur brain about wonderfully... its about time someone picked it up and used it on a real compilation heheh (cheerz '00' )

close 3rd is Heaven Scent... i still get shivvers thru my whole body with that one

peace

the first trance song i ever listened to was tiesto-sparkles (magikal remake). i still think to this day that is the best produced song. just my opinion, and even though ive only been listenin to trance for a year or two now, there are a lot of great songs, and its so damn hard to pick one. you cant make a drug addict choose one drug if you have 10 drugs sittin in front of him can you? how can you make a trance addict pick the greatest tune of all time? haha just a little comparison.

you guys are missing the point... just naming your favorite songs now
not the usefulness of each and every instrument pattern used by the producer. see the above tracks..
and b0bb0 i seriously hope you're joking
about dj jean
hahahahaha
man thats a good one

heh unfortunately...most threads in here eventually end up this way. lemme see if i can think of another track that's real good....umm....dj scot project - o (overdrive) is killer. starts out dark and really sucks you into the song imo. awesome bass to keep ya groovin' and the synth that just pops up takes ya even higher. what a great choon.

to clarify

i was joking

now that i think bout it .. flaming june could get my vote or maybe yahel - voyage .. dont know too much stuff from before 99 so thats it

Cabala - Dark Blue would have to be the most COMPLETE track i've ever heard... the synths, flute, sequences, bassline and beats just mix so awesomely well together!!

i cant be bothered going through the ALIASES thread so can someone tell me who makes up the group Cabala?!!

Arrow

Anybody ever hear this little track Nemo - Spacemaker? It's a favorite of mine and one that I feel is especially well put together... every beat, every sample, each rise and fall used in full effect.

no...sorry never heard of that track before. Maybe ill check it out if its available on napster. Hey its a fellow californian! Hows it going in norcal.
Hey has anybody heard the second track in judge jules@qontact mix? Altitute-excession i thinkg? Just got this mix and its fricken awesome. This song...the beginning just teases you with this mellow uplifting tune, then silences with just the tune playing. Then the same tune comes up but with a different instrument, horns i think, then the beats pick up, the base, and cymbals...silences once more, then everything breaks altogether into the song. Thats what i mean...pure genius. Errr...yea, hey dont think im weird or anything! When i hear trance, i just like listening to every detail, thats how i started really appreciating trance. Im sure theres a lot of people that feel the same way...

although its not one of the best tracks of all time yet
it certainly is good... those "fake" horns, and that cafe del mar synth.
real nice stuff, like i said before the beginning of his set is the best

but then it goes downwards (except for a few select tracks)
