I don't think those songs follow the formula. The rest tho I'd have to agree with. Sad to say that, cuz he's one of my favs. Oh well, I still like his tunes even if they are predictable, I'm actually starting to come around to Solstice a little now

logic? i dunno what kinda logic is that? in fact...i wouldn't call it logic at all! i'd call it an opinion. And "all anthems qualify as cheese?" <-- wtf, do songs go through some sort of tournament, in which they have to beat other songs to qualify as cheese, trance, progressive?

1. I did NOT say cheese sucks! I have more cheese in my music collection than any other type of electronic music.
2. I did NOT say trance sucks! Trance is #1...and all it's subgenres!!!
3. I did NOT say Progressive rules and/or is better than trance! I am not a "prog head"...I enjoy music that sounds good, regardless of it's genre...why can't you?
4. That pic of Ferry was from ishkur.com...i suggest you go there and look around a bit... maybe develop a sense of humour even? (especially Ishkur's guide to electronic music...Rank 1 - Airwave is featured in "This is not trance" section of trance
5. Sometimes I think people don't even know what progressive is...you know James Holden? Way out West? Lustral? they're all progressive...does Tiesto like it? well he put Mindcircus on ISOS3, seems to have "converted" to a prog fan since he became #1...funny thing is, people who don't like progressive like Tiesto's new style...i guess it's just because it's Tiesto...who knows

maybe its cause i dont have it cranked, but this isn't very good.

but if i listen to it stoned, its a whole different story i bet.

cheese = 100x better when stoned than regular non cheesy music.

I don't mind if you don't like progressive, that's cool, it's just that I'm sick of once decent threads getting shut down because someone came along and said "Progressive Sucks" and started a big flame war

people.. if your going to dis up a song.. or a style " calling it cheese "

whatever.. do that but give reason as to why.. making bold "opinion" statements with no backup is just asking to start a flame war....

somepeople like prog.. some people like EPIC TRANCE (NOT CHEESE) deal with it

i happen to like both..
