hey Pat, I was going to write a poem as well, being that writing is my only real talent.

Its the planning a "speical night" thats gonna be tough... goddamn planning.

dressing casually nice, take her to this indian restaurant , then afterwards, lighting up some candles, cracking a bottle of wine and a nice chick flick. Ive only known her for 2 months so i dont think im gonna over do it any more than that. As far as gifts, I think im gonna get her orchids and roses sent to her place . . and a customized stuffed animal of some sort. . . .maybe.

They say getting a girl a stuffed animal or underwear as a gift is serious stuff.

Its my g/fs birthday on the 3rd then V/D

I'm totally skint by the time the 15th Feb comes

Anyway as for pressies get a teddy bear and flowers

exactly what i was going to post. why do we need to have some holiday to remind to us that we should remind to our loved ones that we love them?

if you really love him/her, you'll be showing it every day... not necessarily with gifts. trust me, a teddy bear on a random day would be much more pleasant and meaningful to her.

valentine's day has been a tradition for ages, but these days media has overhyped and sodomized it. most people probably don't even know the real meaning of it... and some people are overreacting

you go with the single rose. it's much better trust me. much more elegant, personal, and appropriate. not only that, but a single rose is not too overwhelming. especially for a gurl you aren't with yet (i'm assuming). a dozen roses will seem like you are coming on too strong.

anyways, valentines day is great i know a lot of peepz say it's just a "greeting card day". i say it's what you make of it. take advantage of the day! use it as an excuse to shower your loved ones with affection or ot show that special someone that you've been too shy to approach that you like him/her.

as for me, i've been compiling an ever growing scrapbook for my special lady since last summer. it's getting big. it contains pictures, poems, journal/diary entries i made after going out with her, napkins from restaurants we've been to, ticket stubs to movies and musicals, drawings, doodles, etc etc etc.

just a physical copy of our memories togetha

but our anniversary is coming up soon too so i dunno if i wanna give her that scrapbook for our anni, or for v-day. either one works fine tho.

Meh. V day is way overrated and if I ever get a g/f and fall in love as much as I think it is like then it'll always be like that, not just one some designated holiday.

sup linx!! yep, long time no talk. Anyways, i think i'll go for the single rose thing. Dang it, now i want v-day to hurry up so i can get it over with haha. just to see what she would say. thanks for all the replies guys.
