lol So true. Tracklisting does not include remembering track names as that is proving IMPOSSIBLE (accept for me apparently as I think I have been dubbed "Tracklist mastah" by every TA at every party we hit up. lol (esp you TAs who run up to me and ask constantly "what track is this") Meh. Just enjoy the music and stop analysing the set!

BTW, you are the only "extremely active member" of this forum whom I haven't met yet. We have to fix this issue during the next party

Also, I really dislike Barrie. I usually take the bus down to Toronto, and the bus usually stops in Barrie. So, if I was gonna go to Barrie, I might as well spend the extra $8-$10 to go down to Toronto, because its the city I know and love

Barrie is just a bunch of strip malls and XXX video stores

You might be thinking im new hear because I never post. Well I've been a TOTA for over 2 years, started reading the forums even before that. I've been loving and listening to the art of Trance since '94 and havent liked anything else since.
I go to York Univ. and am a 3rd year Biology major = I am a dork..haha
I've met a bunch of TOTA's.. Swamper, Desidel, DJ El Kay DEE, Time2burn and Avenjah.

rofl...i pick my parties very selectively...who knows when i turn up or not. Then again...I only remember a few songs that a certain dj played because it's not trainspotting when i go to a clue...it's to party!.

Well, let me follow suit...
My name is Priscila and I too am a trance addict. (There's one addiction to never be ashamed of. ) Really, I'm a music addict in general and I listen to just about anything and everything. I don't recall when I first got into trance music, but it's been quite the mix of 'electronica' in general for years. I was born in Brazil and now live in Oakville, as you can easily see. I've met a bunch of lovely TA's already, and look forward to meeting many more. (Never be too shy to say hi if you see me at a party... I promise I won't bite. ) The last party I attended was indeed Viva's 1 Year Anniversary where I was owned by some very talented DJ's. I'm not sure what's next for me, but I must make it back over there to see PvD in April.

I've been on these boards for over a year..and been browsing a couple months before I joined. I'm not really a noob but only recently have I started meeting TAs at parties...funny thing is that it's mostly newer tas that I've been meeting.

To TA that is but not to Trance, parties or message boards

I'm into hard melodic trance and the only progressive trance i am into is the stuff orkidea plays.

I think that in the ever-evolving music genres, progressive is moving further away from progressive trance and becoming its own unique style that is not trance.

so anyway, you will be seeing more of me.

Hi. I'm Jeff. And Endlesswave introduced me to TA about 2 Months ago. So I've just been lurking around and readin posts for a while, seeing what people have to say and getting an idea of what it's all about. I went to the Hardwick and Orki/J00F parties and met a few people. Can't say I remember everyone's name.

I'm from Etobicoke/Toronto and during the week I go to the University of Western Ontario's Law School. And on the weekends I come back to Toronto (because London Sucks, unless drinking beer and hanging out at the Ceeps and listening to mainstream music is your idea of cool).

I'm interest in import cars like Nissan and Subaru (not Shit-vics). I play hockey and soccer too. I busted my ass off for 8 months at Timmy's to buy a my decks: 2 Technic 1200's MK2, American DJ Mixer XDM 2221, Stanton 680 Needles and Headshells, Koss Headphones and a ghetto ass Peavey Monitor. I'm still working on an amp, decent set of speakers, new phones and possibly a BPM counter....later on a better mixer.
