Morsy, I hate to talk about other clubs and trust me I have enough to say of Aria so other clubs are not really important.
But trust me on this one, clubbers like the sound of clubs and the sound of club is not really super high-fi sound.
Just to fix a really good accoustic in a room can cost many millions $$$. We can work to have the sound possible in clubs but to have really good sound, I mean perfect sound it's impossible.
Stereo sound is not bad, I heard so many sound system in my life so I can't tell Stereo is not bad. And I am sure for any clubbers who hear it, they will be impress because of the big ''Boom Boom'' in the room. But for people who know sound, high and mid-high are not really good trust me. People that are saying ''this is pure clarity'' have never heard a good sound system or can't make difference. I am not telling Aria sound is better, but different.
My toughts is that Stereo sound is only hype!!
so......anyone hear about the cities plans to abolish afterhours clubs?
fer real.......
and stereos sound is perfect for house.....warm thick bass...for trance, not sure it would be the best

I have to agree with Taha, I've been to all three clubs mentioned and after Sona and Stereo my ears were ringing. I don't think its really a matter of quality but rather a level of volume. Stereo is definitely the loudest club , followed by sona and then Aria. To me I would prefer Arias sound system because I wold begin to worry about my hearing to tell the truth. Question: how loud do you need it, to start enjoying the music. But then there are occasions for ex when Armin, Ferry or Tiesto play female vocals , ex Armin played Troy - with Sinead O'Connor singing and it sounds terrible. the higher pitch stuff gets all wavy and distorted and doesn't sound good. I haven't found a venue yet that can make both ends of the spectrum work well.
Another thing we have to look at is just how biased the people on this board are. Myself included love Aria to death (like the most part of you guys), because it overall is heads and shoulders above any other club I've been to (taking into consideration: atmosphere, lineup, interior, lighting, sound, staff, residents and people who frequent the club) Most of us are biased because we want to defend Aria because we love it so much.
If you guys really wanna know if it is or not is to have a poll and dicredit any polls of those that a) have any affiliations with the clubs, b) have any banners int their names representing the clubs, regardless if they work for the club itself (people obviously biased).
But thats only if you guys really wanna know.
Myself personally I don't care! The sound systems are different and are good in their own ways. they're better than my Cambidge 1000's hooked up to my computer at home at that's enough for me.
This moment has been brought to you as a free service message from the The Guvernment of ontario (yes that's right the Guvernment, Mhwahahaha, The Guvernment has the best sound system, now let those Montrealer fight until they are to weak to survive on their own, and then...and then hehe The guvernment shall come to montreal...yesssss my preciousssss)
Well as you can clearly see I'm going insane, as some of you know I'm in Michigan right now and the nearest club city is Detroit, as I would rather not die in a shootout, I'll have to wait until Tomorrow night for HYBRID at Aria, can't wait, see y'all there!
Alec
p.s. Damn that was long.
