Kind of hard to believe I actually used to listen to this music,,, sadly this is what most people in America on the west coast at least,,, are introduced to. I used to like this style of muisc because it sounded awesome on my car stereo and the lyrisc were catchy and there were lots of stuff I could relate to. As I've said in my previous post.... I think hip-hop/rap after 1998 is 100% shiet. I feel sorry that people have to listen to this muisc when they turn on thier TV/Radio because it's all that they know.

yea tupac was the greatest but just look at all those other rappers nowadays, they're justa bucnha sell outs and wangstaz, if tupac were still around he'd be collaborating with justin timberlake or somthing.

some semi new stuff to hit the mainstream

-jayz new song "the bounce"
-nas his latest stuff is pretty good

and jayz is a sellout but wutever as long as he keeps stuff like "the bounce" coming out hes alrite in my books

Always nice to meet another Beasties and J5 fan... they are my two favorite bands. The new J5 album is "Power in Numbers", for future reference, and yes, it's great.
