I have to agree that Nervous was awesome, Pee Wee and Nervous were almost as good as Dumonde.
Zombie Nation... bah ok its cheesy but it brings back some memories for me at Sublime when I first started getting into clubbing, I enjoyed it :P
But Bexta and Ferris and Jumping Jack and Nik Fish were SHIT on the whole, though Yoshi played some nice tunes at the end before I left including Hennes and Cold -The Second Trip (DJ Scot Project Mix) wooowooo
Bexta only has 1 good tune in her bag atm and thats "The Theme" which got played 3 times on the night that I heard, not that I was complaining
Anyways without Dumonde it would have been a very mediocre party, but thx to them it was awesome. I cant comment on mixing skills as I'm not a DJ and I didnt notice anything :P But the most important thing for me is the track selection and the way they work the crowd etc and the crowd were definitely going spastic, led by the TA's up the front!
my name is Hal btw Webmeister
its a difficult name to get across on the dancefloor :P

hehe I think that rox!
it sure does! man that would be soo kewl!
my mum loves trance, but i dont think she would approve if she saw how totally nutterz it can get @ an event!

I enjoyed Dumonde very very much!.
I liked the start of their set when they suddenly emerged from hiding behind the decks to the sounds of "The Theme".
And the working of the crowd to "On the Move" was brilliant!!

Great to see you all had a great time!!
Brisbane was great also.
So how was DJ Nervous???? He spun after Dumonde in Brisbane and the first 3 songs he played were crackerjacks, i think he wouldve been great to see. He played 'Solar Factor - Urban Shakedown (g & m project remix)' but thats all i recognised.
Where is this guy from??
nervous is from sydney
he can play some great sets!/

// helen

I'm glad I didn't stick around for Bexta vs John Ferris et al, Pee Wee and Nervous are definitely the pick of our regular locals, so wasn't too keen on seeing the others
Although Nervous did play Zombie Nation :/
Bexta is surely cute but haven't seen her for a long time so i don't know how good she looks now.
Dj Nervous is a good DJ but he has a fucked up attitude.
nah Nervous is a really nice guy..
He's really been the only DJ thats been playing uplifting trance in Sydney in recent years up until Altitude started. He loves to get the crowd involved too
Got another track id
the track they played after the intro theme was called
Sushi - The Earthshaker
Yeah Nervous is cool, i went up to him last week @Gas and he was really down to earth, he played the Dave joy mix of Mind made up it was so awesome !
someone forgot to mention that pee wee played "Genesis"... now that brings back memories

btw: did they play Solar Factor - Urban shakedown?

| Originally posted by webmeister Now that you mention it, you're absolutely right - I do remember hearing this ![]() But the first track after the intro was most definitely the Dumonde mix of Jurgen Vries - The Theme. Perhaps the second or third track?? They definitely played it early on in the set though... |
