I survived it the last time fox took over Roxy, dunno if I'll be lucky enough to survive it again.

So that makes 11. Any others?

Has anyone been to Cafeteria during normal breakfast hours?
Does it look like reservations will be needed, or should be made? That is, if it is possible to set a time. Starfox said PVD is doing 4 hours, but I saw a Made Events email saying 6. Which is it?

They don't have tables big enough for all of us, but if there aren't many other people there, maybe they can put some tables together (or close to each other) for us.

How about a meeting spot? I'd like to do it inside, but the bouncers will probably not let us hang around. Maybe right outside the exit of the club, or at the corner (18th St and 10th Ave)?
Maybe it doesn't matter if we all know each other, and can just spot each other.

1> def a 6 hour set
2> i say call cafeteria to let them know that the Beasts are Coming! and maybe they can put tables together for us if we say we're coming..
3> let's meet directly outside the club no confusions that way i hope!

Breakfast after PVD sounds good now, but I wouldn't count on it. I remember running all over Arc in the middle of Talla's set last week, asking people if they wanted to go get breakfast afterwards. It seemed like a great idea at the time, but in the end I felt exhausted, dirty, sleepy, and definetly not hungry. The cold alone might keep anyone from wanting to leave their heated car.

Right now you can count me in, but we all gotta see how we feel & look after 10 hours in Roxy.

Arrow

I'll try to make it to breakfast, although Cafeteria has a long wait on saturday mornings...so if there's a lot of us...there might be no time to socialize and mingle...etc.

I believe the set will be 6 hours.....after all, its New York!

updated list

Here's what I have for people who have said they are definitely (or very likely) in for breakfast. There are some posts that don't seem to be clear.
If you, or someone you know, is not on it but should be (i.e. will be attending), please let me know.
I just want to get a headcount before trying to call. What's a good time to tell them to expect us? 9 am?

HAHAHAH YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by wallflower on Feb-21-2003 23:50:

In case you're planning to come, and haven't already headed out

I just called in, and was told
1. They don't take reservations for brunch
2. If we come in at around 9 am, there won't be much of a wait if any
3. The owner doesn't like moving tables around, so we'll probably be split up among separate tables.

Well, let's see how well things work out.
See ya out front, somewhere between the club entrance and the corner (18th St & 10th Ave)

It happened. It was fun. Thanks to all who made it.

Without going into too much of the details for now, I think for next time, we should find a place (if there is one) that can better handle seating and billing of large groups of people.

Maybe we should try something after Arc some time. There are some diners within walking distance from there.
