I try to respect everyone's taste of music and if you don't like Southern Sun, then that's okay. I tried looking for positive Mr. Mystery posts, but the search function seems to be disabled atm. i concur with mystery. southern sun sucked my nuts. i honeslty don't get why it got so much attention. i am not a prog whore, neither do i overtly like jxl, i simply didn't get what the fuck people got out of that track.

the problem is not in what people like, the problem is that people follow the hype too blindly and get biased towards tracks, and therefore, when the tracks don't meet their incredible expectations,, people start to hate the track.

that's what i expect to happen with matrix 2 & 3, sorta. right now it looks like absolutely everybody can't wait for the sequels and that the sequels will kill all other box-office records. personally, i think that because of all the hype people will be disappointed, but i'll go into the theater and enjoy the movie, because i, for one, am not expecting anything, except a great plot

Southern sun was a blast! Still haven't bored it yet, it just might be my all time top1. Currently I can't stop listening Aalto - Rush (Super 8 vs. Orkidea remix) <-- try it!

No, I don't only like prog. In fact, prog is the genre I like the least (I think...).
I don't really listen to music by genres, I like what I like and I don't like what I don't like.

I'm not saying I _hate_ Southern Sun, though - it's an OK track, but I just don't see what caused all the hype around it... it's an average track, the sort that gets released every week - it just got hyped because of the names behind it...

I don't think that's the point. It's about him polluting threads without a reason. It goes like this in a lot of threads. Everyone has songs that they don't like, but that doesn't mean they have to post their (negative) opinions when nobody asks. It was just that I wanted to do this a few times and Stiffmaster's post seemed like a good opportunity. Guess I haven't accomplished anything with it, so sorry for polluting this thread.
