It's no wonder a guy like this is an integral part of "the love parade" in Berlin. Quality dj, quality producer and a quality man, much respect. Come and see him in April mates.

Thanks to cutie on trance.nu for the pic.

How exactly do you compare PVD and Tenaglia ? They spin different types of music which caters to a different body of people. Personally I think BOTH PVD and Danny T are brillant !

Danny is the messiah of NYC Dark House, and PVD the GOD of Trance (In my opinion anyway). Both superb DJ's who i would go to see any day of the week.

Well..I guess you people all have a point. Personally I like both Trance and House I find its easier to dance to House than to Trance. Although I prefer to listen to trance rather than house! I had lot's of fun on trance and house nights. I don't mind some good tecno sometimes. One thing that relly makes the night for me is the CROWD I'm sure U all understand what I mean Right crowd+music u like=fun
Different people like different music so u can't say which DJ is better since they don't play same music right.

P.S One of my friends roommate likes Ozzy Ousborne like we like Trance it was so funny to me to see him enjoyng ozzy's music and watch him being like this when I put PvD -DVD!
PLUR

HEHE this is funny. my original intention in starting this thread was really to show how brave pvd is in making a statement against war in ny. And when I mentioned Tenaglia I wasn't saying anything against him, more along the lines of the nickname :the man, I just stole tenaglias and gave it to pvd, too complicated to really explain in words. anyways, the funny thing about this is the way people have been "not getting along" which was counter to why I started the thread. So in conclusion, tenaglia sux...jk, , hes not my bag, that's all.

Don't make me turn this into another flame thread

Posted by alec on Mar-07-2003 02:35:

btw I love the signature disco. soo true, anyone that saw the ottawa toronto game knows what we're talking about. I think this is now the biggest rivalry in hockey, bar none.

Posted by RnakR on Mar-07-2003 04:24:

i love to hate toronto

Posted by kate on Mar-07-2003 04:28:

haha don't we all!!

Posted by Ortemy on Mar-07-2003 04:48:

Whats up with hating Toronto btw??? Nobody in Toronto gives shit about MTL, everybody in Mtl hates Toronto

Posted by Biggy on Mar-07-2003 05:37:

Me I like Toronto!
Both cities are different and have really good things.
But it's just normal to prefer the city you where live.

Posted by alec on Mar-07-2003 11:32:

We're talking about the hockey teams Ortemy. And you have to admit, you team is like a bunch of gang bangers.

haha ya man we're talking about hockey. And if you think thats how people in toronto feel about mtl and ottawa hockey teams you're obviously not a hockey fan

alec, i went to the game tuesday. It was bar none the most entertaining hockey game I have ever seen. So much tension in the crowd! I saw fights, hell I almost started a few myself. Incredible. but the leaf team just disgusts me.

I am a hockey fan, I am russian dont forget LOL I just dont give too much shit about neither Leafs nor Habs/ Sens . I usually cheer for Toronto, but it's only because Mogilny is playing there Same goes for Rangers, Atlanta, and Detroit. IMO TOronto plays really dirty, it's one of the dirtiest team in the league, but is not that what CANADIAN hockey is all about anyways?

Posted by Biggy on Mar-07-2003 17:44:

Well, the 2 best hockey players of all time are canadiens and 1 of them is from Quebec!!

Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky

But Mario still the best of the best!

Posted by alec on Mar-07-2003 18:22:

It'd be interesting to day a pshycological study on the progression of conversations. Thsi thread was posted by me to show pvd and how cool he was by protesting the war and going for peace, which then turned into tenaglia/pvd flaming (small war), progressed into talk about hockey fighting and hatred of teams/cities and then into best players of hockey. Damn, this is a popourri thread.

Posted by Ortemy on Mar-07-2003 19:17:

Well, Canada is a hockey nation, so no wonder most of the best players come from here. But I would not say that Wayne Gretzki and Mario were the only best players in the hockey history. Same goes for Bobby Orr, Maurice Richard, Valery Harlamov (my fav. player, those who watched that seventies series with USSR team should rembmer his amaizing technic), Vladislav Tretyak. Wayne Gretzki and Mario Lemeiux are just remembered the most since more people got chance to see them.

pfft.. when a russian player like your valery dude earns 62 records in the NHL come talk to me. When was the last time a player like Pavel Bure, Alexi Yashin or Alexander Mogilny won a team a stanly cup? Sorry man but those russians wouldnt have lasted a minute in the 70s against the broad street bullies.

Alec man come help me defend the senators in the TOTA flameroom. Its me against 20 leafs thugs.

Biggy it would have been interesting to see what mario could have done it his carreer if it wasnt so tainted with injuries. Too bad really because he is a brilliant player

LOL. Dont compare Bure, Yashin or Mogilny with Harlamov. He kicked some butt in 70's, trust me. In the series with Canada he was one of the best players, best NHL players could not stop him. At that time soviet players were not allowed to play abroad, but trust me, if Harlamov had a chance, he would be remembered in Canada. He is one of the few russians who made it to the Hockey Hall of Fame (along with Tretyak and Fetisov), his technic is just freaking amazing. Dont forget, even though canadian players won the series of 72, they lost the series of 73(which is obviously is not remembered well in Canada), and that's exactly when canadian defence could not do anything against Valery.
As of now most of russian players suck. Bure is egoist, Yashin is not that talanted and Mogilny has huuuuuuuuge potential but he just stopped working at himself when he got to the certain level. Btw Bure almost won a Stanley cup for Vancouver in 94
Out of russian players the most promissing is Kovalchuk. Him and Heatley will kick some ass in Atlanta in couple of years.
