Orbax,
I haven't taken it to the track yet...it's mostly a show car, but I just bought some lightweight konig rims for racing. Motor work I have

AEM Fuel Rail
AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator
Tanabe Racing Medalion catback Exhaust
Straight Pipe Cat
NX Nitorus Kit w/ 75 shot
NX Purge Kit
NX Bottle Heater
ZEX 2 stages cold spark plugs
Nology Spark Plug wires
Raxels racing axels.

I am going to take it to the track this spring tom get times, and possibly a local dyno run after the snow clears so I can drive it...I will be driopping in a Japan H22 motor within the next year if all goes well. PEace and respect. -Ryan

You can get one in a pretty good condition here for like 300$. Btw, it is still being manufactured in Serbia, so you can get a brand new one there. Rumors are that Zastava is gonna try to expand their business to the states again with a new version of Yugo.

edit: I just found a site http://www.nucarco.com that is importing Zastava vehicles in the US if you're interested. They even have a Yugo convertible there.

Posted by jp on Mar-10-2003 12:22:

That Yugo looks rather good! Wanna bet it's great to pick up chicks

Posted by XxremedyxX on Mar-10-2003 14:27:

92' Acura integra GSR

This model has the better engine and gear box ratio's than the newer GSR's. Hell i wanted to rice it out... but if i can beat newer integra GSR's that are dropped, have Vtec controllers, greddy cat back systems and more... why spend the money?

Besideds. I am poor as fuck. in the past year i have spend over 14 grand on DJ equipment. and i doubt i will slow down.

dood. that car is 15 years old and I could get about 1000 $ US for it if I'd sell it. It has virtualy no horsepower and costs me 650 $ tax a year cause it's a 2.5D with no exhaust cleaning (dunno the word for "Katalysator"

Had a Gen3 VR6 before this, and a Gen2 Gti 16V before that....so this sucks!

I've always wanted a yugo ... tito your car kicks ass. I bet it's got loads of character. I miss how my old car's brake fluid and power steering fluid would run out on me. And I'll always have fond memories of my door handle completely snapping off, forcing me to climb in through the trunk.

I don't have any of those problems. There's no power steering, and only one door can be locked

Yes, I agree that car costs more to support than it is worth. But, still, you don't have that much reason to complain if you consider the fact that most people here don't have a car at all, and many who do have worse ones than you do. Take me as an example, 55Hp, 250$/year, max speed about 140km/h, and most probably it's gonna get screwed next year, cause it doesn't have the "katalizator" either (what's the english word for it?). That's because by the end of the year, cars that don't pass the pollution test here will be banned from the road, and those without "katalizator" most likely won't pass.

Btw, what happened to your previous cars?

I think a "katalizator" is a catallytic converter in english. It's that thing made out of platinum that induces a high burn to eliminate pollution right? Anyway I could deal with the broken door, leaky power steering fluid, vibrating steering wheel at high speed, and the occasional dead battery. The minute my brake fluid started leaking and my car didn't do anything when I stepped on the brakes, is when decided it was time to get a new car Donated the POS to charity.

Yugo is making a comeback to US, a redesigned version of the original version (its pretty much the same car, lol). It will be available in summer of '03. Theres even gonna be a pick up version, haha.

Anyways, the entry level model is like 7,000 USD and the most expensive (the convertible) will be 10,000 USD.

I'm thinking about selling my crx and getting the convertible Yugo .

Oh and BTW, it will go under ZMW (Zastava Motor Works ) logo once it makes its debut in US, again.
