Perhaps it's just a new scene, and techno happened to be one of the first genres introduced. Or, if the culture down there is very non-commercial, it is likely that the people gravitate towards music that seems more "underground." You can't tell me that trance is not up there with house as the most commercialized genre of electronic music. Techno has traditionally been more "underground."

.. well it's cuz not many many ppl spin and listen to trance in croatia .. there is a couple of them but nothing..

.. tekkno rules throughtout croatia/slovenia .. no doubt about it!

.. many trance parties were organized (ie. trance floor @ future shock) but they not many ppl came on that floor..

.. still - i wish the scene here was the same as in croatia (imho)..

.. when u look at it // toronto - how many clubs can u go and listen to trance on a friday/saturday? 4,5 prolly..

.. back home in zagreb there's atleast 3 clubs that are ONLY booking tekkno dj's on fri.. saturday it's also tekkno while some clubs started bringing in elektro @ d'n'b names..

.. on friday chris liebing at one club, big hair/grang dell at another, lucien foort at a third club, deetron/glenn wilson/brenda russell the next day (at different clubs).

.. ppl have a choice - not like here (at least fore me) but i still can find a good party once in a month...

Yea I think I saw that episode of *Wild On* too. Or maybe it was an older one, they went to Dubrovnik, Bol and some other places and Brooke even wore/danced in a nosnja. Too funny...!

yeah, i saw that episode too, it was too short though (i love wild on, well the older episodes, mmmmmm, brooke burke )... i gotta hit bol again though, the beach is just too good
