ahhhhh yes. i too was there at sonar. im not a big fan of our scene going commercial, but this track is QUALITY!!!! omg, this song gets the crowd jumping. everybody must hear this song in a club one time. great track.
can someone share this file
I wanna hear this track!!!
I always rock out to Deep Dish (especially when I'm drunked and crunked
)
Yea I agree with the general thoughts in this thread. Deep Dish did a great remix of Like I Love you by JT. That's a great track. Even though there is a chance of the commercialization of the music, the artists themselves have to be able to decide for themselves. Are they going to be producing generic stuff, or continue to make quality productions?
I think Deep Dish is an example of a musicians who have relatively speaking, a certain amount of fame, but have been able to keep up what made them great. They did win a grammy I believe. Despite that, they have done a lot of superb work, and are still one of my favorite electronica groups. I want to hear this song also.
This "Let's Get Ill" track fucking rocks. Has vocals by P Diddy and Kelis. Deep Dish dropped it twice in their 3-hour set last Thursday. Huge breakdown. The place went off. I expect they'll drop it again at the WMC.
Amit, you were at Sonar? Shoulda tracked yer ass down...
What's all this ragging on artists for remixing commercial music? Lame. Sasha and Deep Dish have remixed commercial music from day one. Their Madonna remixes are excellent. And Deep Dish won a well-deserved Grammy Award for their remix of Dido's "Thank You" last year.
There's an awesome remix of J-Lo's "Play" by Rui Da Silva. I expect the Sander remix to be good too.
I must admit, I don't like any of the Timberlake remixes I've heard, but that's just my taste, not because Timberlake or the remixers suck or anything...

Sander's remix of Justin Timberlake's 'Rock Your Body' is pretty damn good. Just listening to it for the first time now.
Not quite sure what to think of Oakey's mix. Definitely radio-geared it sounds like, but I'm kinda diggin' it. Vasquez's is okay too.
Fuck P Diddy trying to get his fingers into underground music. Hes a sample jacking bitch that gots nothin better to do, Underground music listeners wont accept him. HES CHEEESE. Deep Dish let me down with this collaboration.
anyone have a liveset or full rip of this?
Guess this one can tentatively be titled
Darren Emerson ft. P. Diddy & Kelis - Let's Get Ill (Deep Dish Remix)
I'm actually excited to hear it.
And don't be so quick to jump on hip hop artists with house remixes (as I was before). If you haven't heard Eric B & Rakim - Follow the Leader (Gene Carbonell Mix), I recommend it.
plzzz post a sample sum1!!!!!!!
hmmmmm, i think p diddy is a twat but i'll hear the song before i pass judement on it...
Deepdish is coming my way soon i hope to hear the track.
Even if its good it will not even begin to deminish my deep rithing hatred for puff daddy :P
Intrigued
If amit says it's good, it's gotta be good

Guess What?!?!?!?!?! I heard it for the first time at ULTRA5 this Saturday. Good Track.
It's pretty much Puffy screaming "Lets get Ill!Lets get Ill!Lets get Ill!Lets get Ill!"
Deep dish are quality, their work and integrity should not even be mentioned in this thread. They are great producers. If anything that should be challenged are P.Diddy's vocals. Anybody else could have done those vocals.
Yes it does hype the crowd but I only heard DJ Roland(resident of ClubSpace here in Miami) throw it down. I dont think any DJ's(besides Deep Dish) are crazy for that song. Anyways, I could be wrong because there are whole bunch of DJs that I didn't see.
NOTHING BIG.
Over the course of my 5 days at the winter music conference I heard this song 9 times. PVD played it 3 times alone. Hands down the track of the conference.
