Pages (3): « 1 [2] 3 »
gu015 is great.
huh! i got cable modem 3 years ago and i never bought a cd since. why should i all of sudden start buying.? because of fuckin all these bandwagon jumpers saying that mp3s r cuzing dreadful sales. haha dumbasses. its the overall economy and horrible managment of the record companies. not mp3
actually I've always been buying cd's....and I rather have the real version because it sounds a helluva lot better.

(because they were made here)
I don't buy '12 because I don't have decks to spin them on
so occasionally I do buy albums
but trance albums are quite rare here, or when I do find them, they're like $30 an album...
so when I do buy cds, I buy my cds used, or off ebay..which I don't think helps the producer in any way since I'm not buying from a retailer...
but I recently did buy PvD: Global from HMV
and that cost me $36 including taxes...
wayyyy overpriced!!
On the other hand, I d/l singles and live sets
I might have a few albums here and there too

nah..i'm not that wealthy
I've found most at great prices at hmv or elsewhere...where they have discounted the prices
I bought gu011 for 20
gu012 for 17
gu018 for 16
Paul Oakenfold - 2 Yrs Cream 16 bucks
all gems...all of me being lucky.
I probably do agree lately, I have bought too many cd's.
Same here
now i'm dead broke..lol
I'm trying to finish my PvD collection
and found Seven Ways for $20
that was a steal
it's not really even the price that bothers me
it's the fact that i can never find what i want!
i'm going to have a pretty tough time looking for 45 rbpm

is Zurdo only available to Mexico and the UK?
look in used cd store....45 rpm should be around....
hmmmm
i dowload mp3's usually...
if i really like the album, i'll go out and buy it... but im a poor bastard... so if i dont like the album, i still keep it on my harddrive...
apologoes...
I hardly have any albums because I'm a pretty picky person (I have to like every track on the album to buy it), but i have a ton a vinyl and always go see djs when they come to town so I figure that is my contribution to them
When it comes to mix CD's, I always download AND THEN buy them nowadays. Coming from someone who has very little money, very few mix CD's are really worth buying IMO. However, if I did have cash to spend and didn't spend every free penny on vinyls, I would buy more to keep the labes going and to support the scene in general.
)))
I havent bought a cd in two years before that I use to buy a cd every two weeks... thank god file sharing........ $45. + TAX for a import CD fuck that...
In the past year and a half, I've bought:
Tiesto: ISOS 1,2,3, Magik 5,6,7, Summerbreeze, Revolution, In my Memory
PvD: Seven Ways, OTAB, TPOD, Global
Armin: Boundaries of Imagination, 004
Ferry Corsten: Global Trancemissions 1, 2
Faithless: Sunday 8PM/Saturday 3AM, Outrospective: Special Edition
Thievery Corporation: DJ Kicks
Mauro Picotto: Pulsar
Tall Paul: Back and Forth, Mixed Live
Timo Maas: Loud, Music for the Maases
Push: From Beyond
Way out West: Intensify
Max Graham: Cream CD2
John Digweed: MMII
Sasha: ADD
GU: 06,09,13,23
NuBreed: 004, 006
Chicane: can't remember the name, has Saltwater on it...
I like buying CDs alot. I rarely d/l albums. Only if they're very expensive or extremely rare. I'll sometimes download if I'm unsure about buy a CD, but I either end up buying the CD or trashing the file. I also feel good about supporting the artist.
I download a lot of music but I will never go and download an album, I'll pruchase an album. Gotta show support for all the hardwork the DJs/Producers put in. My downloads consist of mostly livesetsm and some singles.

Well i would love to buy cds but the ones i want are never available. I mean and when they are available theyre like two years old. I mean i had the same system download fisrt to prevent me from buying crap, but i mean when u cant find it the burnt copy plays just like the real one, especially when u dont have the extra cash for it.
greatest shop is the one in kennedy commons....then again....you may want to give up. I'm there grabbing the gems so often...it's not funny.
i think its funny that such internet savvy people aka anyone on this board try to use the excuse of "they don't sell near me"...
amazon.com and the other countries that it sells in
are often quite reasonable....plus they mail the sucker to you
Floorfiller...it comes down to laziness...they simply don't want to buy. People need to support the industry....by going to see deejays live (well 70% of this board, is not legal clubbing age in the places they live...pathetic) and buying their vinyl releases or cd's.

probably the same mp3 kiddies who think that tiesto is the world's number one by listening to mp3's and not going to see him live.
