so you hadn't seen him before?
i recall having a couple of discussions with you about Tijs, you said that he was inconsistent and random. guess it teaches all that you can't judge just from livesets.
i've seen tiesto 3 times already in 2003 and he just keeps getting better and better every time. i'm extremely glad you liked him. respect.

Tiesto 2003 is way more mature than the Tiesto from before. He's classier, more sophisticated and more unique right now. I've been seeing him many times a year since 2000 and he has never dissapointed me, but there's no question that he's a finer artist right now.
However, in art whenever an artist gets more complex and sophisticated, a lot of people fail to understand his evolution. The Tiesto approach to trance today is the same as it was 6 years ago, what has evolved is his taste and the historical development of this kind of music. Tiesto is one of the few djs that understands this (PVD does too in another way) and you have to give him credit for what he's doing now.
Rejecting the mundane hands in the air approach of oversaturated Dutch trance is the way to go and is what makes Tiesto light years superior to Armin and Ferry.

Nice. Always good to hear that Tiesto has a new set of tracks in his recordbox. It seems he tends to change in blocks.
