Parents? Pffff. Rebel. It's the only way you will be able to break free at least a little. Do it in steps...go out then stay out later and later until gradually they don't go so crazy over you staying out late.

I'm not sure how old you are, but if your parents are anything like mine then they just don't trust the 'net and would prefer some sort of concrete information, like a phone number or something.

(My parents know I'm just going to go anyway so they don't bug me TOO much, but I'm a guy, and the rules are different for us whether you like it or not - and yes they've actually stated this publicly ) But anyway, the point is, I'll bet your folks would be cooler with it if you got a few people's numbers and showed them that we're actually real people, and errr I'm not necessarily volunteering because I'd be long distance anyway, but yeah, try it.

Well, my point was that if she has nosey parents like mine, they'll want to know names and numbers and stuff. Hence my recommendation.
