I have dreams about playing at the Church playing for an up for it crowd is awesome...yup, it's juno.com-add fed ex for 5 extra lbs and it's here in 2 days instead of 10.

hey pagoda, if you record the mix can you make an mp3 of it and post it up on the site for us to listen to, do you have a site to host it or a part of it??? also about how many hours a day or times a week do you practice?

I wish I could rip it to mp3, but I only have a tape deck to record on. Once my pal gets back from NY I'll try to borrow his MD and throw it up but he's real stubborn about letting me borrow it..

I usually practice every day for at least an hour or so unless I'm dead tired.

Tell your pal to "relax.......go do it!!!!!"

Yeah it works, just have a beer and spin a few tunes...that's what I'm doing all day tomorrow. It's great to see people dancing to what you're playing though, when you know you helped lots of people get ass that night. It's a good feeling. It's helping the community in a way

only-djs.com is decent too, but they're shipping takes way to long unless you use dhl, then it's only 2 days but it's an assload of money. And Chemical's good, but Juno has alot more records and faster shipping. Just make sure if you use Juno do the FedEx option for 5lbs, otherwise it takes awhile...

Sweet, my friend's bringing his md and cables to work tomorrow, so I should be able to at least burn some cds tomorrow, if not find someone to host the set for me online. Probably about the same tracklist though, I'm tired of playing my older stuff...

So digityl, did you buy SHOKK's new tune or what? I'm still waiting to see if I can this week or not.

Target...that place is fucking hell. I'm looking for a new job, but since I had to buy a new car and have alot more bills it has to give me 40 hrs, and not much else has the flexibility with hours I'll need when I go back to school. Still, that place fucking sucks!

haha, i feel your pain sorta. i work at the gap and we're changing our policy...its fuckin gay...too much customer interaction for my liking. for instance, if a customer walks in and they have a kid we have to play or talk to the kid. GAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! so yeah, i'm not transferring to a gap in denver, i gotta find a new job too, oh well. oh yeah, i only get $6.75/hr and about an avg of 12 hrs a week, how lame is that?

I'm trying haaaaard not to buy 3rd Earth, I know I can't afford it...and somehow I've lost $70+ from my bank account that is completely unnaccounted for, and everything I wrote checks for cleared, so I'm pissed, and broke.

I'm recording my set right now, my mixing is off tonight though... but I'll put in Cloudwalking for you guys. Gotta run

heh, cloudwalking is such a good tune! so i was on chemical records website today and saw that 3rd earth might not get a full release due to "sample problems" soooooooo i'm debating on wether or not i should get it since i'll eventually have tables

Man, my mixing hasn't been this bad in a very long time...I'll try again tomorrow, it just seems like I wasn't there and I couldn't concentrate. I didn't have one good transition, actually I'm kind of pissed. If you guys want it though, I can try and host it somewhere-here's the tracklist:

No, neither Juno or Chemical convert it, but your bank will. I just use xe.com to get exchange rates.

Damn md doesn't seem to wanna work. I'll try again though. Still, it's not all bad, I'm heading down to gc tomorrow to buy a nice Stanton mixer on sale for $150-regularly $425. So hopefully they have it in stock. I played with it the other day but didn't have the cash, it's a huge fuckin deal and I can't resist it.

dang, it seems like you drop money left and right, how much you get at target in denver?? i wish i had the money for techs and a mixer it looks as if im gonna end up buying 3rd earth even though i wont have tables for a while, i just dont wanna be without my own copy if it doesnt end up getting a full release. soooo if i make it down to denver maybe i could bring the record after i have it and we can spin a bit...
