What i don't get is that when he plays a cheese track like Circ - Destroy She Said (De Donatis Remix) , then you people don't mind.

BUT when a FRAGMA songs comes out which uses better vocals then all of a sudden it is called CHEESE..

WTF!!

Posted by escee on Mar-29-2003 01:27:

in my opinion that circ song does have cheesey vocals, but its still a good song.

PS Sorry to be niave @ the same time but has this been released? I've only heard it on 1 set b4 global and it's a mp3 set off a friend. So is it old or new ( I know I could search, but want your lowdown)

Posted by webmeister on Mar-29-2003 02:16:

Wade from what I can tell, it's actually been around for quite awhile. I think it first appeared in his set from Rosenmontags 2002, back when we all thought it was PVD vs City - Suzann.

Now it sounds slightly different (as you would know from the Global CD).

I've got a feeling it's on the soundtrack PvD did for that Mexican film, One Perfect Day, but I don't know if that's been released yet.

Posted by venomdx on Mar-29-2003 02:37:

I believe he's stated that its never going to be released, which is a pity cos its truly a brilliant track.

hey

it's the same song. He never changed his CD-R copy so he still plays the version from march 2002. The versions of zurdo and global were indeed slighty edited.

hope you have fun soon.

all the best,

fox

really??
that live version from Rosenmontags seemed to have much more .. I dunno, "oomph" I guess you could say
Regardless, he destroyed the place with it last year .. here's hoping for 2 years in a row

I originally thought that the Circ song was a touch on the cliched side, but deary me, when Paul dropped it as the 5th last track or so, a few thousand people went off their heads. Hear it out before you judge it

Omg yes that was wicked. It's got a slightly better melody and fragma (original) tracks don't have a breakdown and buildup which "Destroy She Said" sort of does in two places. It's got a bit more structure.

Well DUH! In the original whitelabel bootleg CD-R pre-release, he used the morg k-7000 synthesizer that has the low frequency oscillation! the extra kick you're refering to was mainly due to his switch from using the
tb303, to the ts404!~. Im suprised that fox, with his fundamental understanding and background knowledge of paul van dyk could not pick up such a miniscule discrepancy and simply stated :
