-- Who will be the next "most-hated" DJ?
Pages (3): « 1 [2] 3 »
your opinions will change if armins upcoming album is good
personally i would like if it people stoped the bandwagon jumping pitchfork gathering and mob assembly
this wanton flamming is getting annoying god damn it
esepcially since this isnt even flamming this is like PREFLAMING.
some sort of sick precursor to the actual flames
god damn no good can come from this thread

| Originally posted by ascension it seems like when a dj gets big, lots of people just jump on the band wagon cos its the cool thing to do "yeah *** is god.. he's the man.. blah blah..." when people start blindly following a dj NAME, disregarding the music, thats when you get people saying - how can you love this guy so much?? he's too overated, his productions are crap etc etc etc thats just what ive noticed |

So who knows...maybe Armins next (I hope not) |
it will NEVER be armin. the end.
theres alredy a bunch of noobs bandwagon jumping in this thread alredy
wow, the popularity bandwagon .. almost sounds like commercialism..
some people will never b satisfied - you make it big, then that someone might be considered as 'selling out' to some.....
style is style...
... they're all good to my ears
If you don't like a DJ, just don't listen to his sets, but please stop those stupid flame topics.
People saying Tisto sucks nowadays and that he was better back in '99-00 are very near-sighted. Tisto didn't change at all, he's still the same person and he still spins the same way. Only the tunes he plays are different from the ones from 4 years ago and that's just because the whole trance scene has changed. Do you guys really think he still has to play the same tunes as 4 years ago, over and over again?
When you listen to his first CD, back in 1993, his style was much different, when you listen to Magik 1 (1997), it's also different, that's just because the whole trance music evolves. The tunes are different, but his music is still of the same quality as 10 years, 5 years or 2 years ago. When you don't like to hear new tunes, well, just put one of his old cd's in your cd-player and enjoy.
Yeah they are just djs. the producers are the ones to blame. they are changing their style, not the djs. Actually they become trance popular. They were the first ones to intruduce it to the people first. Thats why they are so popular. They are not good producers. They need help for the albums. And thats the whole thing. So stop this stupid topic.

| Originally posted by occrider I disagree, I think that regardless of how successful armin's album becomes, people will still jump on the bandwagon of anti-Armin if he becomes too popular. It seems that if a DJ's popularity grows he comes to be under greater scrutinization and critisizm. |
Dana

Well, to all who says Oakey was great in 1999 or Tiesto was great in 1999... can it be it were the time you come into Trance? If yes, keep in mind, there will never be a second "first time". If I hear the commercial discussion I get sick by you. As if you would throw away a chance to make money, let me laugh.
Blaming others for it is pure jealousy, nothing else. So I stay with my opinion
OAKEY FOREVER! TIESTO FOREVER! AvB FOREVER! PVD FOREVER!
