Originally posted by wookieslut I think Ferry Corsten isnt doing to hot...ever since ligaya i was kinda dissapointed with his work and remixes. i didnt like that new subsola remix he did cause it was to amaturish sounding and weak...and his new single "indigo" is very repetitive and boring. anyways, what do you think about his productions? i just cant see why he is so popular still.

Not bad
I am afraid to say a few of ferry's recent tracks have disappointed me. In particular Indigo, Needlejuice, and Punk. I'm just not a fan of their style.
I think his sets have been good though. And I do like ligaya.

Ferry is great. So is Tiesto. What's all the comotion in here?
I didn't really like Ferry's MoS Trance Nation album. ..hm..or...ugh...one of MoS albums. I thought it was really cheesy. or was Trance nation the good album. Meh, you get the point. Overall, Ferry is great.
I've heard some of the synthlines on the newer album, and they sounded better than the ones on out of the blue. Still not Astral Projection great, but good none the less.

Indigo defines quality melodic trance production...
ferry corsten is sliding into the cheese ranks of those:
lange
dj alligator
john gielen(supertrancesuperduperhero)
I was more into Ferry's style that I'm now, and his recent productions haven't being too impressive, except for Indigo (heard it yesterday finally, killer tune!)
I have to agree with wookieslut. Lately I have just not been impressed with Ferry's work. It seems he has been using cheesy synths that give his latest tracks a corny feeling to them.

now that you mention it i haven't liked a tune from him in a while
pocket damage - i see nothing good in that tune
my dance - nothing special
punk - got boring
the most recent one i think i've liked is solstice and thats not exactly new
that said, i've heard him dj a couple times in the past few weeks and have been impressed, and want to hear more

Originally posted by Micheline i will have to admit that Tiesto album is one of the best i heard. But.....he had produced all the tracks with someone else. Usually all of them are produced with great producers. And i think you have to admit that he is no superman. He is a great dj. Thats why they voted him number 1. He is just not a good producer. Ask any of the big names they will tell you the same. Why is it so hard to understand that? Even i have my favorite artists and i admit if they are not perfect. This my friend i call "fanatic". A guy who is crazy for a artist so much he cant see nothing, but the good from him.

YEah
Rememberance has his facts right...
Screw you Ferry haters..please dont listen to his music if its so unbearable.
Mucho Gracias
Ferry 3wns j00 all
Actually I like Indigo, it jams to me. Ligaya wasnt that good, and TBH I havent even bothered to check out subsola so I cant really comment on that. I dont think Ferry has becom boring roduction wise, to me its jus the same ol Ferry.

Originally posted by Christopher B As for the Tiesto/Ferry/Gouryella argument, if you listen to Gouryella, Walhalla, and Tenshi, you can tell that Ligaya is definitely missing something. As for Ferry's productions, I've liked a couple of his recent ones, like Solstice, but most of the new System F stuff is too cheesy for my tastes.
