I blazed to the whole set that swamper posted up a while back and i thought people must be brave to enter a club when this sadistic evil bastard is playing. However i loved the set, and if hes around the uk again im gonna make the effort and see him (as long as its not somewhere daft like north of scotland or wales)
I love how he plays with the bass, cutting it in and out along with the mechanical clanging techno sounds drilling away beside it. Its simplistic yes, but its fun and sounds awesome.
Becuase its a live rip u cant feel the bass but u can hear what the bass sounds like banging off the walls of the venue.

If anyone has any info or club listings on him then please post

Techno, like house, is something i would have to hear live in order to appreciate... if i heard those sounds put up on a massive system like you all are talking about, it would make me move, im sure. but listening to that Rush set from the site a few months ago, i would rather listen to the local hip hop stations than listen to this guy casually! No melody, just noise. i hope his mix Cd is better. If i want high energy hardcore, i pop in my Omar Santana Cds. classic harcore can't be matched for pure energy IMO. At least until i see Rush live.

the fact is the music he plays doesn't exactly take a huge amount of effort to mix. he isn't exactly the most skilled dj in the world. but the fact that he's 6'5 and plays possibly the most insane tracks i've ever heard works for him. Standing next to a 20ft sound system listening to "motherfucking bass" was an experience to say the least.

Holy shit could also be that of a priest, nun, bishop.........................
