Santi Ezquerro, the striker from Athletic Bilbao, has signed a three year contract with Barcelona.
how good is he padrino ?
actually havent got a clue, never heard of him before
i need a goddamn satellite so i can watch more spanish football
and guess what ... i'm gettin myself a satellite
Txiki Begiristain, the club's Director of Football, explained to fcbarcelona.com: "he perfectly fits the profile of the kind of player we want and he also was out of contract at the end of this season. He's a quality player with good movement, intelligence and plenty of versatility, as well as that he's shown he can score at the top level. He's coming here with plenty of ambition and a desire to win titles. He'll bring a lot to the team, especially since he can fit into any one of three possible positions in our system".
well Ezquerro imo is similar to Luis Garcia when he arrived in Barcelona. Ezquerro has played for Athletic for 7 years and he is 28. not too well-known but with enough skills to play for Bara, besides he comes for free.
Congratulations guys.

Q: What would you say to the members and supporters of Barca that you have still not said after all this time?
Ronaldinho
"I believe that the words thank you cover everything. The manner in which they treat me, every day they treat me with great affection. So, if there is someone who has not heard me already, then I say thank you again.
I hope to stay here for many years and make bring more joy to all the fans."

Ronaldinho to sign Barca deal PA Sport Ronaldinho's agent expects the Brazilian star to sign a new bumper contract with Barcelona before the end of this month. The Catalan side has been desperate to tie down Ronaldinho to a long term deal amid concerns that Chelsea are planning to launch a bid for him in the future. Indeed, Spanish newspaper AS has claimed that the Stamford Bridge side are ready to pay 70million euros ($A112.2million) for Ronaldinho but if the 25-year-old does sign a new deal, any hope the Blues have of being able to prise him away from the Nou Camp would appear to be very remote. "We have not been able to sign a new contract so far because the team has been travelling and ourselves as well, it was a case of finding a space in the diary to fit it in," Roberto de Assis told reporters at the Nou Camp. "I am here until August 29 and before I go back to Brazil we are going to arrange everything." |
