Can anyone tell me if that is al real rare record? How many of that one were made?

Try to get in touch with the artist, the remixer (Krystal), or the label. The label is probably the best place to start, since they'd have to know how many were pressed.

Currently going for 75 from hard to find. But knowing hard to find, it's most likely an MP3 press and the 'original mail out sheets' have probably just been printed off MS Word in the back of the shop.

Some of my vinyls which I think I quite rare are:

LSG - Netherworld (Jules Verne / DJ Randy mixes) Hooj Choons 52R Promo - not the full release. The full release on Hooj Choons 52R can still be bought for around 10.

Northern Exposure (UK Release x4 Vinyl)

Hi Fi Bugs - Lydian & The Dinosaur (1 sided)

BT - Movement in still life (Picture disc vinyl)

Gus Gus - David (1 sided Luke Chable remix)

2 Phat ****s - Ride (1 sided Yoshitoshi pressing)

Perfecto Presents Paul Oakenfold - Great wall (x3 vinyl) For a while was the only place to find a release of Blackwatch vs Quivver - Loveless. Also features some hard to find trance versions of John B tunes 'Electrofreek' and 'Mercury Skies'.

Edit:- I forgot about these beauties (I have too many vinyls!!)

Avril Lavigne - I'm with you (Leama & Moor remix & Dub)

Orbital - Belfast (Leama & Moor remix 1 sided press)

what confuses me is that the original '91 release is for sale 4 times on discogs, for quite low prices varying from 15 euro to 30 GBP. of course it could be possible that all of them are not the real '91 release, but the re-issue. so that i can understand. BUT, 7000 copies were pressed. and it doesnt have that much wants, and also, it has a pretty low have-to-want ratio. how is it possible then that its so rare, and people pay so much for it? is there perhaps 1 more release whic his the ultimate one? or was the 900GBP pure coincidence of 2 crazy (tto rich) people bidding against each other?
i dont see the fuss ...

Earthbound 1 & 2 don't sell for that much, but you never know with collectors... There are a lot of Prodigy fans, since they're so well-known. Look at the prices people pay for the original Radiohead "Drill EP", and similar releases by other famous artists.

btw, isnt this a (special) collector's item perhaps; http://www.discogs.com/release/158095 ???

90% of the ones being sold are the repress-
Discogs is not an exhaustive list- nor does it rally give accurate prices. Ebay is generally your most reliable source for current selling prices- barring the ocassional freak price (like that 900 one!).
My copy cost 95 uk, a couple of years before the repress was on sale for 3.99, hence I know its genuine.
prices have dropped since the repress (and for all the other prodigy originals I have annoyingly) and nothing would surprise me less than to hear HTFR had sold another shoddy bootleg or a repress as a rare original.

unbelievable that no one suggested Z-Factor - Dance Party Album up till now. was sold on eBay yesterday for 150 GBP (!!!) the same dude also sold these releases (for some good astronomical prices);
Pierre's Pfantasy Club - Fantasay Girl
Jesse Saunders - On & On
Rhythm Controll - My House
Ragtyme - Fix It Man

i see waxHead wants some of the ones mentioned above, so i hope for him he has seen the auctions .. and perhaps won some .

here's one completely different;
Nina Simone - Sinnerman (Felix da Housecat Remixes)

been looking for it a while now, pretty hard 2 find. could perhaps be certified as rare too

it can still be found once in a while for a decent price. it's a solid release though. worth buying for Zero alone .

All of those are very highly sought-after house records from the 80s and very early 90s. Most will sell for big $$$ because so many people have wanted them for so long, same as the Joe R. Lewis records you mentioned earlier. I never brought them up as they aren't much like trance at all. If you'd looking for very wanted records though, check out:

Clarence G - Hyperspace Sound Lab
- http://www.discogs.com/release/249283

That is one of the most-wanted electronic records ever, and reportedly sold for $5000 USD when it was on eBay a few years ago. It was just up again within the last two weeks and had reached $1000 USD when the seller removed it, apparently b/c of a large offer outside eBay.

Along the house record lines, I recently picked up this record:

Auto Bahn - Do You Like This Beat [Fierce Records]

these are my most rare ones. they were included in a lot, so they cost me around 0,5 euro a piece.

DBX - Alien EP
http://www.discogs.com/release/10288

Buzzin Cuzzins - Let Me Show You Love
http://www.discogs.com/release/14731

L.B. Bad - The Prince of Dance Music
http://www.discogs.com/release/80335

Source - Source
http://www.discogs.com/release/133464

and lots of Trax, Nugroove, R&S, Warp, Dance Mania and D.J. International that are quite rare too.

The description of the 'what evil lurks' vinyl from HTFR.com indicates its the 91 original. Which may be the case given that this vinyl goes for comparably low prices on discogs. But I wouldn't trust HTFR, I've had too many damaged vinyls and MP3 presses passed off as white labels from them.

Edit: - the vinyl pictured is XLT 17 containing the tracks 'What evil lurks', 'Android', 'We gonna rock' and 'everybody in the place'.

Ouch, I wouldn't be too happy about only getting 10.75 Euro for Tiesto's Power Mix. Sorry to hear it went for so little

Maybe you sent me an email about the Power Mix, but I know I never received any PMs about it on this message board.

i pm-ed u via the discogs-contact form, so maybe it got in your spambox of your emailaccount. anyway, that has happened. lets hope that the next auction will be better

Haha that's a friend of mine who is the winner. Cause I was on vacation he did bid for me on the Tiesto power mix of Destination Sunshine. So yes I've got it for a great price

And for Aria - Dido / Willow I already have that vinyl so I said to him it's a great record. So now he has it for only 6,50euro I couldn't believe it when he send me a message with the results

good for you man, hope you enjoy them . if im right, he received the records yesterday. on behalf of the prices; those things happen. its a bargain for you, and its the risk i take with such low starting bids. though the vinyl market is declining, its still quite interesting, if you know whats best to offer, when to offer, and where to offer. plus, HOW to offer. lets hope the market increases some day big time

Spectacular record that showed up today, pretty damn rare too:

Q - Voice of "Q" [Philly World Records]

Find a clip of this song, it's fantastic
