Exactly.

But I reckon Jules is doing a Tiesto job - not a particuarly good DJ, but with hordes of fans from when he was really good a few years back. He plays mainly tech-trance these days, but maybe that's perhaps not as popular as we all think it is. There's loads of sets in the DJ Promotion forum of tech-trance, but Randy Katana is down around 178, so...

4. Corsten

Right so far... still think it'll be Armin, PVD, Tiesto.

I still think Tiesto is a great DJ. Not like how he was back in the day, but what he is doing for the trance community and his productions still, he's still tops in my books and I'm not a newbie either. Just a difference of opinion.

wahey!! Ferry Corsten no4!!

That's it now:

1.Paul van dyk
2.Armin van buuren
3.Tiesto

It's about correlation. There are instances of educated members signing on later, but they don't constitute enough of a deviation from the overall trend.

Surely that should be the other way around..

Jules is living off his past-glory no doubts about it.
Same as Tiesto..

But i'd have to argue Tiesto is pulling a 'Julesey' rather than other way around!

my prediction:

Tiesto
PVD
Armin

lol

Now this end was to be expected. The big three. But now, please: Tiesto #3

Posted by thony_54 on Oct-20-2005 17:45:

1/ ARMIN
2/ PVD
3/ TIESTO

I would like to see Tisto n ! not armin

Ferry Corsten on the 4th place. I've always liked his sets and the stuff he plays, That's for sure.

The problem is that Ferry has had too similar playlist for too long in 2005. He played so much better and more sorted stuff back in 1999-2001.
He's still my favourite DJ, But absolutely not the best this year.

Posted by kernkraft on Oct-20-2005 17:46:

if tiesto gets number one it will be the experience of a lifetime to be in this thread at that moment

well, overall I'd put him lower, but to see him raned as 4 among Tiesto and Armin and Ferry is dissappointing to me.

I'm going to have to disagree though. After all, he made all of his true fans "Dance, Dance, Until They Drop[ped] Dead!"
