Actually, something VERY similar happend to me. I played an 8-9 on the small blind. The flop came out 8-9-9, full house! The next card, 9! Quad nines! 2 people in front of me go all in, I was like Call! Boom! Quad nines. The other two had an eight!


So today 9's will be the lucky number of the day...

very nice. i love it when people think "oh, theres two 9s out there, that lessens the chance that you'll have a 9, so i think my 8 is good." idiots.

8-9 suited is one of my faveorite hands in poker.

it depends really. when there are two same cards on the board, it's a good spot to bluff regardless of what you hold depending on other circumstances (loose v. tight game, how many players you have in the pot, etc).

I dont know how to play Poker.

well the whole thing with bluffing is just knowing when to do it. know the players you're playing with and how they are playing. adjust your game according to that.

frequency of bluffing is also an important factor. You want to bluff at a certain percentage so you throw your opponents off guard and make it profitable in the long run.
