I was initially a tiesto addict and still love his sound but now i think he came into my life to prepare me for armin's sound which is so important. I went though hell in my life as a teen ( my parents split and my dad ended up in jail for a year.) becauise of that, I had to grow up very fast and didn't realy have my teen years to develop an identity. Armin and his music have given me that identity, like a final peice of the puzzle that's fallen into place. I have many things that are important to me, but if I had one small wish , i wish that i could have just a few minutes with armin alone just to tell him what he really means to me. heartbroken
K i've got a whopping problem and i need some sage advice from the rest of this crew. I'm stuggling not to crash land after armin's show. He means so much to me and its so painful to have to say goodbye after only a few hours. i was listening to the Daniel Khandi's Shiver Mix of "Love you more" and i had tears streaming down my face. i was like this last time Armin was here and i crash landed really baddly after that show. it means so much to me to interact wtih armin, those times when he looked at me., when he took my essay that i'd written about him for a uni course, reacted to the title page in surprise and flipped through it for a few secs, the times hen i got to touch his hand even just fora second and when i got to speak to him a few times, and his reaction when i mimiced spinning a record with both my hands and his response to that as well. it all just meant so mcuh to me that i don't think i'll ever recover from it. i'm not sure how to get through the first couple of weeks after this show. any one have any ideas?

no mate i assure you i'm not kidding. when you're a DJ with 2 disabilities stuff like this means more to you then it might to most people. i've been an Armin addict for about 4 years now and a DJ for only 2 of those. yet Armin continues to mean so much to me. sometimes what people remember isn't the tracks and shit its the small stuff that people remember like meeting the artist after the show and small things like that.
put yourself in my shoes 4 a bit m8 and u may think differently.

What is it with people. has nobody ever heard of respect. i cna see where you guys may be comming from buit jeez dose everyone have to bash the DJs like that. i respect armin the same way i respect all of you guys and galz. dont' get me wrong but its not wrong i think to have one aritst that is a huge influence on your life. try producing or DJing, you'll see what I mean. Armin was also responsible for helping me score a huge A in one of my classes this year in Uni. i wrote an essay on electronic music and DJing and the synbology behind it. as part of the assignment everyone had to analyse a preformance of some type that they'd seen. i chose armin's last show in winnipeg and scored a huge A on the essay as a result of doing some brilliant work with a total of 6,031 words final count. i gave armin a copy of the paper at the show. with that paper it didn't feel so much like a paper but more like armin and I were colaborating on a project.
So while i respect your opinions, i think once you meet me in person you might understand a bit better where i'm comming from.
i hope that i have the pleasure to meet everyone at some point.
