This is a really nice mixture of different styles, tony. It captures a real mixtape feel and I even liked some of the "black music" 
I really like the flow from the beginning till you break it up with What I'll Do and start building again.
The first thoughts I had when I listened to this, was that it has your name written all over it. Well, obviously because you chosen your personal favorites, but also because all the tracks have some funkiness in it (up to the trancey part), a sound which I often hear back in your other mixes and have come to like more and more 
Just remembered that I didn't comment on this. Thanks again for stepping in Tony - the reason I hadn't invited you before now was because you told me you'd need more than a month to sort out a tracklist.
The set is everything this game is about - great mix-tape feel with a good variety of tunes from different styles. I could have done without hearing Voodoo People pitched up that far, but otherwise no complaints at all.
cheers jack, i'm pleased with all the comments on my set. i enjoyed making it and enjoy listening to it, and i'm eager to hear the next persons effort. this game is quite fun
I just listend to the Grim Reaper mix. Very cool, I have to say. I can't believe that Bomfunk MCs song...it sounds so different to the original!! Really liked some of the trance at the end. Great work.
Uncle Dub, finally got a chance to listen. As good as ever - your sets are always special treats because they offer such eclectic journeys through genres. It's gotten to the point where I can't really listen to a two hour mix of a straight genre, so this is perfect for me. Some gems in here - didn't listen with the tracklist, so the Jay-Z and Busta tracks made me smile. Was always a fan of that Kylie remix as well.
Good times.
Oh, and forgot to mention that the Britney Spears Migs remix was a huuuuuge guilty pleasure of mine in high school when I would just listen to Naked Music NYC cds all day long. Adds so much to the original!

First of all, Iwant to apologize to Jack, as well as those who keep up with this thread for delivering my
entry one week into the month. By most standards, I have been given ample time to complete my mix yet do not
seem to have been able to deliver it on time. I won't get into the details, but again, I apologize, for what
it's worth.
Anyway, I wanted to say that I am not particularely proud or entirely fond of the music Iwas listening to in
my early years. I am 23 now, and I'd say I started listening to music actively since about the age of 6. My
father (R.I.P.), owned lots of classic rock vinyl and casette tapes but for the most part did not share any
of it with me. Instead, he was quite supportive of me discovering the newer music that was coming out of
Europe and the U.S. at the time, which wasn't always the best. In short, up until about 2004, the music I
listened to was mostly by encounter, rather than by choice. I own a whole bunch of dance music compilations
and some music soundtracks, which is where most of this music is from. The best of the worst I guess you could say,
in many cases, as the tracks that accompanied some of these were really quite bad. That wasn't always the case,
but I'll go into more detail as I describe why each track was selected.
Track List:
Pink Floyd - Speak to Me/Breathe
Classic by many people's accounts, being the first track on one of the most popular LPs of all time.
Funnily enough, while I have been aware of dark side of the moon for as long as I can remember (even those
who haven't listened to it, at least have seen the cover art at one point), I haven't heard it until about
3-4 years ago. Needless to say, whenever I do listen to this I am usually baked out of my head, and I just
find this to be the utterly trippiest shit ever recorded by man. Simple as that.
Pink Floyd - On the Run
A natural follow up to the previous track, being number 2 on that same LP. Some people would probably agree
that it'd be hard to separate the two, seeing as how one leads into the other the way it does. thought it'd
be a shame not too, and so I included it. Both bcause it makes so much sense as a natural continuation and
because not doing so would have proved to be surprisingly difficult!
America - A Horse With no Name
Again, a classic American rock song that I have only been introduced to more recently. Actually first heard a remake
on some GU comp that I have and after making my friend listen to it he proceeded to play the original, and I just
love it. Some of the most lush vocals in a song and boy do they paint a clear picture. I never got into much
classic rock but this one of definitely up my alley.
Orbital - Halcyon + On + On
Wow, I hope my choices are not getting too obvious at this point. A classic for many people and for me as well. I
have the original Halcyon but I just find this version to be better and definitely easier to integrate into a mix.
Actually I know this best as the track that plays at the end of the first Mortal Kombat film when Liu Kang defeats
Shang Tsu and the souls of the dead warriors are released. A track that has stood the test of time better than most.
Shakedown - At Night (Mousse T's Feel Much Better Remix)
I love the original version of this and for some reason decided to include this remix, which is just funky as
all hell. Picked up the EP back when it came out during a visit to Melbourne. I'm not really one for vocals
but this one just gets it right.
Fatboy Slim - Star 69 (Timo Maas Remix)
"They know what is what but they don't know what is what the just strut, what the FUCK!". Again, classic vocals
in this one which comes off one of two Star 69 EPs that I picked up during one of my visits to Melbourne. Great,
jacking remix by Martin Butt....err, Timo Maas.
Chemical Brothers - Let Forever Be
Checmical Brothers have been around for a while but I only first discovered them through this track and the
subsequent Surrender LP that followed. This is a great track of their that IMO will not get old for a very
long time.
Lamb vs Cosmos - What sound (Tom Middleton Deep Step Remix)
The original version of this is a dear favorite of mine, first heard on a Ministry Of Sound comilation about 6
or 7 years ago. When I heard the Tom Middleton remix I actually lost my shit, since it's so good, and decided it
is the version that I have to include in my mix. The vocals are some of the best in any track IMO, and the whole
thing is just gorgeous.
Faithless - God is a DJ
Pretty sure I first heard this on MTV back when it came out in 1996 and fell in love right away. I guess this
could be one of the first proper trance tracks I heard and actually caught on to. The vocal element is obviously
what makes this so memorable, but it's a really solid track in its own right as well. Later on I picked up the
album that this was on (Sunday 8 AM I believe).
Psykosonik - Unlearn (Josh Wink's Live Mix)
I got this off the OST of the first Mortal Kombat film as well. This is actually one of the few tracks on that CD
that were not featured in the film. It is one of the better ones though, and it's the sort of track I didn't really
get at the time (I was 8 or 9) that now makes a whole lot of sense. If I saw this for sale on Beatport as a new track
today, I would buy it. I think that says a lot.
Kay Cee - Sunshine (Take U There) (Elvissa Club Mix)
Ahh, balaeric trance. It's tracks like these that made me love trance so much back in the day. Off some Israeli
trance comp I own from 1998 or so. Not much to say other than that I think this is a great track. I would like to
own more versions of this one day.
Basement Jaxx - Jump N Shout (Stanton Warriors Remix)
Not really a track I listened to a whole lot when I got it but definitely one that held a certain allure for me.
I had been listening to Basement Jaxx for a couple of years at that point and had been buying some of their other
stuff. This has the Stanton Warriors touch to it with the dubbiness and chopped up vocals. not necessarily as
classic to me as some of theo ther tracks here, but this worked well in the context of the mix IMO.
Guy Gerber and Shlomi Aber - Sea of Sand
This is the most recent track here and for a reason. I think it's possibly due to this track that I I listen to
the music that I listen to today. I mean being Israeli-born, one of the reasons this track first caught my attention
was that it was made by a couple of Israeli guys. Anyway, I just love the eastern vibe and the sort of drugged-out,
warped feeling of it. It made me realize that there was a whole world of electronic music out there waiting
to be explored. Could another track have made me realize that? Yes. perhaps. But through chance encounter I'd say that
this is one that really got me to open up, also becauyse it was quite different from anything I was buying at the
time yet I liked it so much.
Jakatta - My Vision (Joey Negro Club Mix)
Love Jakatta, love Seal and I love this track. Not much else to say. Oh yea, Joey Negro's pretty awesome, too.
Great remix of a great track. Off the CD EP, like many other tracks in this mix. Great vocals in this one and it's
overall just very lush.
Miro - Paradise (Red Jerry's Longdubbyvocal Remix)
My favorite trance track ever, period. It's from 1998 though I only got it in 2004. I used to lay down in my room,
get high and listen to this on repeat. It's just a thing of beauty. I don't have many words to describe why I love
it so much, but this is probably my most cherished track in this whole mix.
Libra pres. Taylor - Anomality (Calling Your Name) (Granny's 7 Inch Edit)
Also off an Israeli trance comp from aroun 1998 or 1999. One of those tracks I really used to love back in the day.
I realize now that this is a really shitty version which I own, but thought I'd include in nonetheless.
Sash! - La Primavera (Magic Alec's Break For Love Mix)
Last, but not least. Sash! occupies a significant amount of space in my music-listening past. I own pretty much
every album these guys ever made. It first started with Ecuador, and continued from there. I bought the La Primavera
single around 1997 or so, even though I already had the album that it came from at that point. And the only reason
I bought it was because I loved Sash! so much. I decided to include this breaks remix because it, too, is the kind
of track that I didn't really "get" at the time, that in recent years has made a lot more sense to me. I'd say that
this has stood the test of time the most, and is an absolutely fantastic track in it's own right.

Nice one Adam. All really familiar tracks to me, bar the Miro and Libra tracks later in the set but should be good to revisit not having heard some of them for ages.

Very nice trackselection and mixing, but the feel/flow of the mix came a bit short on the first listen. There was a point or two where I thought the mix was over and a new one had just started.
Felt this towards the end at least.
adam, your mix was good but it didn't have the strongest of flow. it wasn't that bothersome but it didn't really grab me despite tracks being good and track that i know. the only transition that bothered me was 'angel' into 'anomaly', it felt lazy to be honest. but big ups on playing that remix of 'la primavera'. easily a favourite of mine.
Nice set, Adam. Yeah, I'll agree that the flow was a bit all over the place but the tunes were very good and it's obvious they meant a lot to you. Kept me entertained for a while. Thanks man!
Cheers guys, really appreciate the listens. Flow was pretty hard for me to nail down given the variety of styles. Not just what made it into the mix but of all the music I selected. Was pretty hard to settle on something that would satisfy me track-list wise and also in terms of the flow/mixing. I definitely think there's room for improvement but I can't say I'm not happy with the end result, so I'm happy.
I was wondering what that third track was... but I remember hearing it on breaking bad. Really great vocals, kind've random transition from pink floyd though
