Why pay to park when you can park on Fort or Shelby for free

Been going to DEMF for six years and that area always has a couple of spaces available. I think folks don't realize that the city of Detroit is closed until Tuesday morning so most of no parking rules (loading, street cleaning etc) dont apply.
Just be there no later than 5PM on Saturday as the crowd for Plastikman should be pretty intense and start building from then til close....parking will be tough. Sunday will be iffy with the parking...Monday should be a breeze.

Why would she drive if his hotel is only a $10 cab (or less) away? Then she has to worry about his car, and won't be able to get drunk and such.

I'm flying into Detroit from NY, so no driving for me. Looks like I'll have a band staying with me and my husband, lol.

I am getting very excited already and we have more than a month to go still.

I think the mass volume of friends who are coming this year makes it that much better.

I'm pretty freaking excited as well. And I know you can relate to my excitement with regard to the amount of friends too since it'll be one of the first times you see everyone after you leave us for the Big Apple!

While I can actually understand what you're saying here, and do agree somewhat - in fact it's one of the things I love about EDM - perhaps you should start your own thread about this for people to discuss instead of littering the thread with random posts about music. They don't really contribute to anything re: DEMF info/discussion.
