soooooo late sasha review

sasha was on at 10:50 when we got there which surprised the shit out of us. we apparently got there for his first track according to other people who were there.

lavelle was no where to be found, farley and i were starting to wonder if our dreams of seeing sasha play by himself for 3+ hours were going to come true.

he was building quite nicely. then i saw lavelle come into the booth :\

he immediately killed the flow of the evening with his first track, which was some weird rock infused edm song.

i must say compared to the first time i saw him, his mixing improved, however thats not saying much, several trainwrecks through out the evening. he even managed to stop/eject/or restart a track (Booka Shade - Mandarine Girl) on the cdjs.

all in all i liked sasha's residency here, even if he did only play 2/3 of the gigs.

i probably would have liked it more if i hadn't seen his 2 gigs in LA tho.

But Howells was pretty tight, He played upstairs so it was a completely different vibe...

Mason and I saw a completely wasted asian girl...

not so much a review as a I saw Mason post :P .

Hope AVB plays fast tempo trance like in SF instead of weak crap like in LA when he comes to Global Dance Fest

nice, thanks for the review, i was quite bummed that i couldnt go, ft collins was fun, but after i realized i wasnt gonna make it to danny i didnt enjoy it as much.

on niiiiiiiiiice RITM are playing, hopefully the bring out all the stops with the crazy visuals they're known for, granted they're not playing live, so we'll have to see.

im back in denver for the thing this weekend... doesnt seem like there is much interest on TA for this Global Dance fest thing...

ill be at the Church tonight and then the thing at red rocks tomorrow...

just throwin it out there for the denver people to know...

there are people goin to both, tomorrow i know that floorfiller, aznxtrancer, and sweet cheeks are goin to GDF.

i preferred the lineup last year to this years, but if you like trance (general statement) the lineup looks pretty good.

im goin 2 gdf 3rd year lol
