Alright go Sweden...they are my team for the rest of the tourney...
Till the Olympics of course
zidane will have no problems tomorrow scoring a few goals!
VIVA LA PORTUGAL........................
Well good for them, finally they got something.......cuz this is as good as it's going to get. And the Award for most dives in a game.....it's unanimous...............PORTUGAL!
GO EVERYBODY ELSE!!!!!!
Seriously, it was a good game..........but penalty kicks still SUC monkey balls
If this game was left up to the better team...England would have won it on extra time....I mean really, there is no way you can pick a winner by penalty kicks
No offence....soccer is soccer, my team is already out.....what the hell..............VIVA LA PORTUGAL
what? can't you all take a joke
Do you people even know the rules? Provitex...you're a fucking idiot.
Rooney suffers a broken foot on a blatant kick, and that changed the game. England just deflated after that, even though Owen scored a beauty of a goal...I don't understand why they laid back just like they did against France. And the refereeing is just atrocious...that Ronaldo falls over every time someone touches him. How can any Portuguese fan be proud of a player like that? The European game is like basketball on grass...bunch of swan diving fairies....absolutely disgusting.
Cambell's goal was NOT goalie interference! There was no way Ricardo would have been able to get to it even if Terry hadn't been in his way. This is a repeat of France 98...Campbell scores a great goal to win it and it's called back on bullshit. It's quite obvious to any objective viewer that UEFA are biased toward England...the foul calls will tell you that. Even the linesman pointed to the goal...the Portuguese were shocked as anybody that it was called back...how can the referee make that call when he is FORTY FUCKING YARDS AWAY??? I love football, but they really have to take a look at the officiating.
Even you fuckwit England haters have to give them credit for tying the game late to force it into penalties, which is the stupidest way to lose a game. Beckham again...he's had a crap tournament and is crap at penalties. And David James...he's an awful goalie and should never wear the England jersey again. Seaman could have stopped at least two of those penalties.
But whatever...Portugal won't get to the Final. England robbed again on crap calls...some things just never change.
i'm not even gonna bother reading all that,
btw, I don't care how well england play, I hate them period.
and plus, portugal isn't even a fav of mine... they just made my year eliminating england.
now step aside, there's no room for you anymore
Zidane tomorrow people! Praise the true world class footballEr!
Alright provitex STFU already we heard all about your ARAB GOD LEGEND
funny though...do Arabs even play football?
Anybody who lives to see a team lose, be it England, Germany or whoever...is a pathetic loser. At least my HOME FUCKING NATION made this tournament you fucking pathetic wankers. And yeah, I was born in England and am proud of it. At least I have a history to be proud of. Among other things, we gave the world this game.
But enough sour grapes...Portugal played well enough to win and they got it done, with help from the refs of course. They aren't good enough to beat the Swedes, Dutch or French...or the Czechs for that matter.

wankers wankers wankers is all I hear from you...
I don't care where you were born, and about all of your pride! I mean, good for you?!? What do you want a prize?? the most I care about them is that they're out! them being out is what I care about! Done! this chapter is closed! why argue about other issues?????? see, one of my points for hating england so much..
for your information, arabs do play football *you'd be surprised how many clubs are within the arab nations*, i'm not even sure how knowledgeable you are about this but calling me an idiot I think is ironic enough now..
searcher>> i don't have much to say to you anymore... you were once an opponent, now you're on the same boat as smitty. So when I was addressing the 'people' i meant those who's teams are still in the tournament. you can cry with smitty about your loss, or devour yourself in jealousy but youll never stop ARAB GOD LEGEND!!!!! (that was for you...)
whatever, calm down people... I don't wana fight anymore.. too tired from all the excitement today. PEACE!!!!

Zidane is as French as they come....Algeria was once a French North African colony, hence the fact that many French emigrated there. Zidane was born to FRENCH parents in Algeria...it's the same as England's Hargreaves.....born in Canada to English parents...or me...born in England to one Canadian parent and one English parent. Same crap...it doesn't make Zidane Arab...it makes him French.
But let's get back to my original point...I notice nobody will debate the validity of Campbell's goal (since it was, in fact, a fucking legitimate goal)...you just go on about how they're beaten. Cry me a river indeed....the injustice of UEFA is proven once again. But at least England can go down gracefully and admit that it was not their best effort. There is no clear winner on penalty kicks...it's just luck. But it's all done now....Portugal will not make it past the semis...let's go Dutch and Swedes.
Zidane was born in the north part of Marseille to Algerian parents, Zidane is not as French as them come nor is 95% of les Blues. Zidane has nothing in common to the little knob shiner of Whoregreavs, may he rot in hell. Zidane is a pride of nation, his status is above Chiracs in France, hes got a God like status everywhere. Hes evidently a legend in Algeria as hes a star of a country that has oppressed his parents homeland. Zizou has single-handedly eased the intense hatred between many French and the Maghreb. Its a bit too much of a sophisticated story for the slew of part-time football fans that Euro or the WC seem to churn out every odd year in Canada in general, not solely on these forums.
To go back to the little douche bag of Owen Whoregreaves, Ill name you two dozens of people in 2 seconds whod hung him by the balls if he ever stepped on a field in Canada. His dad is a brit, his mother is Welsh, the Juda was born in Calgary and learned his football on CANADIAN soil. He wore the Canadian shirt when he was 2 years younger than his age category (u16 I believe it was), and as all Canadians who want to make it head to Europe, he did teh same by opting for the deutsch powerhouse Bayern M Over the years he started declining the invitation for the Nats and he opted to play for WALES, he was eligible because of his mothers side A few years late little Whoregreaves was of age to be capped by an A-selection, just when Canada needed a midfield anchorman to undertake the WC qualification campaign, but the little Calgary man kept on making excuses to make the long story short, once Eriksson discovered the Whore is eligible to play for the three lions, he sent him an invitation the Canadian anus gladly accepted. Hold on a second here, the Judas opts for a country that the he NEVER set a foot in! He snubs the Canadian team for 2 years without giving a real excuse, it was always some bollock injury, family problems, rubbish this rubbsh that and then with no pride Calgarys penis wrinkle is playing for England. Rot in hell ****, well piss on your grave just as you spat on a whole nation...
Ok I already wasted enough time thats enough for today, the scandinavian tits await at the beach
ALLEZ LES BLEUS, CE SOIR ON VOUS MET LE FEU!

Emry you wanker if you're reading this today you'll get slapped, we waited for 3 hours, I'm in Nice for the afternoon but ring me up if you're still alive

To Dj-HordasH's comments
I don't see what the big deal is...frankly I would rather play soccer (football) in England and for England...the guy is just trying to make a name for himself and make a living...honestly how much glory/exposure/jobs can he have by playing here
I think your comments about him are too harsh and unjustified

| Profile Usually a substitute for Bayern Munich, the 20-year-old came of age at the end of the 2000/01 season when helping his club to the Champions League title an impressing everyone in the process. By virtue of his father coming from Bolton, Hargreaves is eligible to play for England. He was born in Canada and grew up an ice hockey fan. He could also play for Wales due to his mother's country of birth and by 2002 would have been eligible for Germany due to residential rights. After taking up soccer - his dad is a big Bolton Wanderers fan - he impressed in his native Calgary before Munich snapped him up at age 16. Now committed to playing for England, he won international acclaim when his performance as a stand-in for Stefan Effenberg in the televised Champions League Semi-final second-leg marked him as a player of genuine potential. He was instrumental in a 2-1 victory which sealed the German side's place in the final. |
Hordash's comments are harsh, but he's on target. He was born, grew up and trained here. Big monies are made with clubs (Bayern Munich), he could've still play with the Canadian team.
If every talented player goes with another country then I guess Canada will never have a good team
(don't forget that everyone in this country is an immigrant).

. .. but then if players don't stay, we won't have a decent teams to start up a good leauge that could spark the interest in the media and general public and boost up Canada's team. Chicken and egg problem.

In a country where hockey rules (and he's from Calgary) I think he has more opportunites there to shine and win that's all
its only a matter of time before soccer becomes big in Canada.
Its the most played sport by young Canadians.
