Hopefully the Nats can put a little spoke in Florida's wheel in this 4 games series this week.

You guys surely know your stuff!

Too bad that site has some problems. :-( let me know if you did the quiz and your results are not shown here.

Some excellent matchups in baseball today. Watching Mets at Braves @ TBS right now!

Watching the Mets -braves game as well...Freaking Andruw Jones.....well at least the Mets are letting me down early and not getting me totally hooked.Marlins should get the wild card with their pitching

Posted by Magnetonium on Sep-05-2005 20:24:

Its tough to play the Braves, no matter what team you are.

A lot of Braves fans including myself are quite big fans of Francouer - in one inning of today game he did it all - drove in a run, threw out a batter at home, ran bases well on sacrifice fly.

I wonder which steroids Andruw is on - I remember him early in the season struggling like Giambi. And look at both of them now. Has to be a new line of steroids. Some new undetectable brand. Oh well, it suits fine with me for now.

I hate and respect the Braves at the same time.Is Andruw Jones having his Matt williams year for home runs? sudden hot bat and then come back and suck

im the leader in the club house with 9/10. to be honest, i guessed on three of the questions and got two of them right. the oldest franchise one i guessed on (thought about who made the quiz), the team never to win a world series, and who started 0-21. so theres probably people out there that had those questions narrowed down to two answers and know more than me.

8/10

did not know the angels win leader in 2002 or the oldest franchise from that group

Posted by jonze on Sep-06-2005 04:18:

i know someone on here mentioned that they knew a guy drafted by the white sox by the name ray liotta (i remember asking if it was the actor)

well on espn.com they had an article about him and some of the other pitchers down in single a and it sounds pretty promising for him

Article on Ray Liotta

Or maybe I'll find a better quiz site or maybe I am actually going to be doing a baseball playoff pool (that I do every year).

Question of a day: WILL Dontrelle WILLis become the FIRST 20 game winner in Marlins franchise history? I mean, they have 2 World Series championships, yet NOT a single 20 game winner

Yeah but they did get one of the largest strikezones ever against the indians in their first world series win

or a division title

Mets almost had(have) a win tonight, but Atlanta came back in the 9th.

Top of the 10th now.. but the bases are loaded and only 1 out..

heres hoping the Mets can pull through to avoid a sweep.

Well, thats quite obvious!

Game time: Braves have bases loaded, no out, Francoeur batting ....

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Sep-08-2005 02:26:

speaking of baseball ..

how about them yankees ..

i bashed them before, but i regret it now ..

their recent acquisitions (small and chacon) really stepped it up.. a-rod and sheff are practically carrying the bats right now .. but it may be too little too late ..

Posted by Mebot on Sep-08-2005 02:37:

Damn, Mets choked, and Nationals got spanked... but Willis got his 20th win. I guess that should account for something.

looks like the bats are little too heavy for sheff as he pulled a hammy

how do you met fans like shingo time? he had a good rookie year before everyone got a look at him. i feel bad for the guy but he just doesnt look like he can get it done here.
