There were three e-mails sent out, in total. Look at the first e-mail, how it says "FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2007." That was the reason they retracted the first one. The third one they sent out was fixed to say Tuesday.

And I'll still be going. Official word from the Underworld crew on their forums is that there weren't enough tickets sold; they had been assured by LiveNation the last few weeks that ticket sales and everything would be fine, but it looks like it was LiveNations last minute decision to pull the plug on Red Rocks as a venue. I think that's a good decision, because the whole "Red Rocks experience" wouldn't be the same when you turn around during a tune expecting to see/hear a packed amphitheatre with their arms in the air, only to see a silent, half-empty amphitheatre.

I'm certainly not canceling my trip out, because it's Underworld, it's the only chance on the tour I'll have to see them, it'll be a more intimate show, and the whole trip has a deeper "meaning" for my dad (who I invited out) and I (long story short, I went to Denver with him for his favorite artist when I was 11 or 12, now it's the other way around).

So yea, I'll still be there front and center.

the crowd at space is a little rough too. I doubt Vinyl on a Sasha night will be as much to handle as Space. Although...the only Space experience I've had was WMC...and I'm not sure that's 100% accurate on how Space is the rest of the year.

Lots of new stuff here....

Sucks that the two best shows on here IMO are both on 11/2, but I gotta go with Prydz.

Posted by MindShifter on Sep-19-2007 22:12:

that's shit that bug is here on NYE, that means i'll be missing him

and yeah i'm torn, i'll have to make a decision between richards and prydz when it gets closer, tho i'm leaning more towards richards at this point tbh.

nice to see ame back too, hopefully more people will show this time :-\

you could probably just listen to the newest sasha set to find out how prydz is gonna play

ame will be sick. it'd also be sick if they stopped booking actual talent at the church and stick to kaskade/bbb/insertshitdjwhomakestheamericanroundsevery3months. not that the line up there is that great, but w/ digweed recently and mstr coming up soon. how the hell is a place that's had a breakdance circle/nebraska toe for fucking years considered a serious venue?

So.....NYE?

Who's coming to Canada?

i would think it might be more likely that prydz comes back sooner than richards know what i mean?

both shows i'm sure would be gold though...

Damn you are like 3 days shy of Vegoose. Thievery Corp. x2, Daft Punk and infected mushroom. That's about it for the edm, but much much more for that festival.

Anyone know of anything going on in Tucson/Phoenix? I'm in the area until February and all I've found so far is Dogzilla coming to DELIGHT 2007 on December 1st. Anyone been to E4 or Radius in Phoenix?

I have been to both.

Radius has the better dance space, sound and lighting, however they choose to mainly play hip-hop, mash-ups and one-off dance events there.

E4 is bringing more and more EDM lately on Saturday nights, but the dance space is small. The sound at e4 has been upgraded recently and is pretty tight. The club itself is really nice, but a little crowded at times.

Myst (same ownership as Axis/Radius, Suede, Sky Lounge and Sandbar) is probably the largest. Sound system there gets pushed too hard and the DJ booth is just about a mile above the dance floor...but they have "House 7340" every Friday night which is good.

go to:

www.relentlessbeats.com
www.mystaz.com
www.eventvibe.com

for more info.

Hope that helps and that you have a good time in The Grand Canyon State.

Remembered my password for my other profile. Thanks for the replies!

I think I'm going to try and get up to Scottsdale on Greyhound (I'm in Sierra Vista without a car) and see Jimmy Van M this Saturday at E4 - he's one of my favorite DJs and it's hard for me to pass this up. Anyone planning on going?

What's the dress code like at e4? I read about people getting turned away for shoes...would my Steve Maddens be too casual? Thanks for any help.

Talking

sweet, thanks man...can't wait for tonight!

edit: just got back from Jimmy Van M - incredible; I'm really glad I got a chance to see him. He dropped some surprises near the end like Daft Punk - Da Funk and Der Dritte Raum - Hale Bopp. I got a signed poster too so I'm definitely stoked about that.

E4 was pretty nice, not too crowded, plenty of room on the dancefloor...I'll definitely be coming back. Thanks again for the info, you made my weekend.

Junkie XL - Fuck More (Junk O Flamenco Remix)

hopefully this one isnt only on a video game album (Need For Speed Pro Street). but MSTRKRFT and UNKLE are also on said album so its not all bad|

?

not the remix i referred to but:

the flamenco is less vocal, more tech, sicker bassline. not like either would suck at a jxl show...

good vibrations

Anything going down in Bolder CO? I'd love to get fucked up in Loveland CO just the name ignites good vibrations lol.
